There is still not a single Linux distro that can get as much work done as a 15 year old OS.

very true
>Linux STILL can't do this
An OS doesn't get any work done. You probably mean you are more productive on XP because you haven't learned anything new for the last 15 years.
>>Linux STILL can't do this
too true user and it still can't do this either.
OP means he is more productive with Bonzi Buddy.
That and clippy are way better than cortana
Suddenly, Linux can play DX10 and DX11 games with Wine. XPcucks btfo.
Windows XP marketshare is still higher than Linux.
Freetards on suicide watch.
Half the time it doesn't work though.
all hail the eternal os: win xp
>marketshare
Why would we care? Linux is free. Selfie sticks have a larger marketshare than Linux. You think I'm sweatin' that too?
And half the time it does. Still 100% more DX10 and DX11 support than on XP.
XPtards on suicide watch.
>Why would we care?
Linux can't even compete with a dead operating system. Just saying.

Your parents and their preinstalled Windows machines count towards market share, too.
>dead operating system
Last time I checked my older computers still worked fine with XP
If u can't be productive regardless of OS, you're probably underage, a gaymer, or unemployed.
>Your parents and their preinstalled Windows machines count towards market share, too.
Daily reminder that there was a period when PC companies sold computers with Linux preinstalled and people STILL chose to install Windows afterwards.
Must be hard not having XP tech support seeing your a fucking retard.
At least they are my real parents, unlike yours.
>Last time I checked my older computers still worked fine with XP
Dead as in unsupported.
*you're
Also I'm using POSReady 2009
>Linux can't even compete with a dead operating system.
But that was never a part of the Linux agenda.Windows can't compete with doorbells. This is how stupid you sound.
Agreed OP.
Even though this thread is bait, GNU/Linux is completely useless outside of very nuanced development and supercomputer use, and even then the former can be replicated in Windows.
>subjective claim shilling macrocuck with no facts backing it up
Yes, generally speaking people will usually not like a sudden OS change where nothing they used previously would work the same way. Additionally, Linux isn't exactly aimed towards creating an interface for computer illiterates.
>But that was never a part of the Linux agenda.
What's Linux agenda I'm curious. It started as a Unix clone for the 386 PC, and ended up as a cheap (read free) Unix clone for servers and basement dwellers.
The (normie) desktop will never be Linux territory.

dude c'mon, it's 2016
>Windows XP marketshare is still higher than Linux.
This simply shows how many Pajeets are too stingy to upgrade.
>where nothing they used previously would work the same way.
Actually work at all, people generally speaking, want to use applications. That's the whole point of the OS.
>The (normie) desktop will never be Linux territory.
Hopefully.
>The (normie) desktop will never be Linux territory.
Who cares?
You
Are you implying Linux can't run applications?
Fair enough
>want to use applications
>use applications
>applications
>APPLICATIONS
>WHAT OS DOESN'T HAVE APPLICATIONS
There are still people who worry about what OS other people are using
Yes, Linux can't run a lot of the applications that people care about. And it didn't have to be like that. Linux never really cared about 3rd party developers and now it's stuck with anemic marketshare and shitty ports.

Proof that Linux doesn't care about 3rd party developers?
Constant breakage.
Constant breakage of third party apps, or of Linux itself? The first can't be entirely blamed on Linux developers, and the second I don't personally experience much. I mostly think that since there aren't as many major programs on Linux, people won't switch to it and developers aren't interested in moving any of their software to it because not many people are using it.
You'll have to be more specific. So many OSes are designed around the linux kernel, that you're actually retarded for bringing this up.
>Linux will never be normie
Good
Can I run an unmodified executable from the 90's on Linux (a gui app, not vi)?
Yes
Reeeeeeeeeeally?
youtube.com
Instead of a useful and informative blue screen on what went wrong, Linux has poorly documented "Oops!" Kernel panics.
>why cant i hold all these windows
Its like compiz from microsoft
>user I'm trying to watch a movie but it keeps flying around!
This would be more infuriating than any malware
CAN YOUR LINUX DO THIS?
DIDN'T THINK SO

Considering supercomputers run on Linux I'm pretty sure it has gotten way more work done than windows.
your wallpaper is a virus.
You mad? y/n
Free as in windows. Free as in gates.
literally never happened to me and I use Windows my whole life
Fuck, you mean your parents put you in front of windows at birth. They should be imprisioned for child abuse, jeez...
these people are insane
microsoft is dying
the lies -- they increase
Nice try Pajeet. Poo in loo.
they upgraded it
Can I run an unmodified executable from the 90s on Windows 10?
I think that depends on what your working on OP, linux is much more effective for getting the work of ricing and watching hentai done
Truth hurts does it?
