Change it to a read/write filesystem then?

lol'd

this is why i use ext2

>read-only file system
>SystemD

Behold the power of retards

I had this too then I realised what I had done

so run fsck you fucking tard

What are you doing on an american board if you can't read english ?

The power of explicit error messages?
>Use Win10
>"Something has happened"

>the power of autism

btfo

Poor, user. You messed up your fstab, didn't you?

> Clear error messages for failing hardware
Fuck you're an idiot, please install Windows 10

>systemd
Found your problem!

Did that pic need to be friggen three plus meg?

you're a windows 10 power user?

Behold the power of Ext* filesystems

I lost data 3 times with Ext*

There is a time and place for capslock.
user was clearly BTFO

This is why I use OS X with the far superior HFS+

G'day mate

>Buffer I/O error on dev dm-0, logical block 0, lost sync page write
>read-only file system
>Input/output error

If you can't understand these to mean “YOUR HARD DRIVE IS FUCKED M8”, linux can't help you

Behold! The power of Windows!

Are you implying this isn't 10,000 times better then what happens during a Linux kernel panic?

No QR code?

>can only find a picture off of google images, unlike OP
kek, linuxtards on suicide watch

This is what you get when pajeets invade Sup Forums

Nice OP
You sure convinced me :^)

>not using BSD

At least a kernel panic actually tells you what happened

Wtf.. Windows have error logs. And this nothing on screen is in Win 8

Mount your filesystem read-write you fucking idiot.

ext2 supports mounting readonly retard.

Holy shit this thread is retarded.
>hur dur use windows lol
>hur dur use osx lol
>hur dur >ext*
>hur dur >systemd
Can any one of you fucking read English? OP fucking mounted his filesystem readonly.
Using other filesystems and OS's will not stop OP from doing fucking retarded stuff.

The solution is really fucking simple, you mount it read-write, there, fucking solved.
Fucking retards.

>Linux
Don't confuse something that actually works with systemd.

>behold the power of sysmemed

ftfy

Probably your shitty drive, I've been using ext4 since it's release and never had any problems.

You've been totally anally destroyed OP. If this was meant to be an anti-Linux thread, you failed so hard.

Now people just think you're retarded pajeet.

>BSD
This.
Viva FreeBSD.

behold the power of someone who thought they could just unplug their raspberry pi and have nothing bad happen

What an ugly anime whore.

So does . In this case, it's HAL_INITIALIZATION_FAILED.

You would've list data regardless of the filesystem, it must be your drive. Ext4 is the most stable filesystem mankind has created

you mean zfs

Pretty sure it was just the old "I don't know how to fix it so I'll badmouth it until someone tells me the answer while arguing".

I've been running ext4 since it was created. No problems.

ZFS is god tier. Nothing else comes close.
>inb4 the hot mess that is btrfs

Worst gif I've seen in a while desu

Linux breaks like this literally all the time, Linuxfags just don't share that when people are interested in it.

No, it doesn't break "literally all the time". Do you not know what "literally" means? It would have to be broken right after being fixed to be literally breaking all the time. You could not have a second of plain computer use because it's broken again, and again, and again continuing forever. This is not the case, Linux is more stable than anything if you want it to be. By choosing a stable distro and not modifying it all the time you could have it running for years without rebooting. There are also other levels between these examples, you choose how much do you want.

Yeah but here's the thing - it doesn't stop you from fucking booting.

Arch has one thing break and stops you from doing anything at all.

>I have never used Linux, the post

Name one thing HFS has better than ext4.

>he fell for the systemd meme

...

linux is trash

/thread

>HAL_INITIALIZATION_FAILED
I can't let you do that, Dave.

>using arch
>Complaining about breakage.

>oops, something's wrong :^(

Before there was Windows 10, there was HAL9000.
youtube.com/watch?v=ARJ8cAGm6JE

>systemd
You could have listened.

Ah yes, how very helpful. That really helps me know why HAL failed to initialize.

>using the smiley with a carat nose

Stop complaining, you did not pay for it.

>systemD

nigga u crazy bitch ass nigga

i fell for the WD meme

>mounted a read only system and tried to write to it

behold the power of u are brain

>unplug hdd
>os fails mysteriously

I've had my current WD greens (4 of them) for over 3 years, and I've still to have a single error message from them.

>systemd
LEL

Behold the true power of linux.

behold the true beauty of Haskell

...

>I'm too stupid to inspect the minidump.

It says it right fucking there, its' creating a kernel dump so you can inspect it.

Let me know where I can find the kernel dump when linux wets bed...

I know. It's funny because Arch never breaks.

print('OP is a fag'*1000)

behold the true beauty of Python

I would install Linux on my notebook again, but one of my gpus is broken, I cant remove it and every linux installation breaks at the start because it can not ignore the broken gpu
tried it with different versions of mint ubuntu xubuntu fedora and something else
also had to disable updates on win8.1 because they try to install drivers for the broken gpu and then fuck up the whole OS which has to be reinstalled then

I spent days on this problem but i cant into hardware and have no money for a new gpu
