I can draw in krita on my seven year old HP 2730p. Why spend money on a gimped tablet?

Oh yeah, just a reminder for everybody. You can buy the HP 2730p on eBay for ~$100. Great Linux support, everything works ootb on Debian.

Because it runs iOS. Not even good enough to be used as a paperweight.
