No. The Xiaomeme phones have an active ROM scene so you will continue to get updated AOSP ROMs and various Pajeet shit. All support for Oukitel will be dropped five minutes after the phone comes out and there will be no third-party ROM development

Bear in mind, though, that having the latest bleeding-edge Android version isn't all it's cracked up to be. It's not like must-have features get added every five minutes and any shortcomings can generally be worked around with third-party tools. Personally I'd like you to get the Oukitel since we don't have a meaningful corpus of reviews on their shit so far. That said, if it were me I'd be sticking to the known quantity and getting the Xiaomeme since there only seem to be one or two anons reporting problems with them out of the many who have bought one.
