What is the best android music player that can do the following? >play opus >correctly read embedded album art >play/pause on lock screen >not a god awful ui
There has to be one out there somewhere, android music players can't all be just a big meme.
Easton Morris
Also bonus points if it has the following >folder browsing >album thumbnails
Julian Flores
>opus
Cameron Jones
Use AAC and get over it OP
Joseph Phillips
And what shitty pajeet phone do you have? Android supports opus since 5.0, every player should be able to play it if your phone isn't a big meme.
Joshua Jenkins
Apollo.
Michael Baker
Galaxy s5 with stock 5.0. Neither blackplayer nor shuttle support opus natively.
Daniel Thompson
foobar2k just wait for user skins or make your own
Adrian Collins
Android 5.0 adds native opus decoding, so any player which uses the Android Music API or whatever will be able to play opus. I use GMMP which is pretty decent, but I don't know if it has lockscreen controls.
Dumb memers.
Nicholas Morgan
mxplayer
Camden Gonzalez
VLC
Christopher Morris
I love Phonograph
Sebastian Gomez
phonograph three only decent media player with option to read embedded album art instead of shitty mediastore cached covers
Sebastian Baker
The new Poweramp alpha might be worth a shot.
Cooper Morales
GoneMAD is the only player that meets this.
It supports Opus in video files, not seperately.
Nathan Evans
>AAC >the finest of 90s audio technology
Julian Scott
I use GoneMad Music Player GMMP
Leo Ortiz
Poweramp
Does no one use Poweramp on Android???
Ryan Jackson
Poweramp doesn't do Opus, at least the stable version doesn't
Hunter Price
Only in a MKV container, so effectively useless for what most people want it for.
James Thompson
GoneMad Music Player
Poweramp is extremely popular, doesn't support Opus, and is extremely outdated. I own both Poweramp and GMMP and have for years. One of those two kept up with the times and one didn't.
