I've gotten used to using chrome for Sup Forums because for some reason my WiFi router makes the apps for Sup Forums/youtube/netflix really slow at downloading the content, they (-Sup Forums) still stream the video at the highest quality just fine

For me there is only one music player who had these two features i ever need, MIUI default player:
-sorts your music by folders, inside by tag name
-creates a playlist of the whole folder by chosing a song

Rocketplayer sorts by filename but displays the tag name, i can listen to the next song inside a folder but not to the previous. Navigating inside a song is untuitive, if you move the slider it directly starts playing instead of waiting until i have released it.

Is there any reason to use mx player if you need extra codecs when vlc works without that mess

Last time I checked, this uses thousands of phone permissions, even though it's just a wrapper.

This is the correct way to go. Literally zero permissions. And has black theme for facebook as well. Tinfoil is okay but way outdated and everything is white.

NetGuard (GitHub version with HOSTS support) is a great option if you're not rooted
