Snapchat like app that deletes messages after being read?

snapchat like app that deletes messages after being read?

snapchat also sends text messages

now go

Any other app without that kiddie vibe?

Cyber Dust was started by Mark Cuban.

Place the text in a server somewhere and send the link. Then remove the text from the server.

I think this works on Telegram with the end to end encryption mode

>without that kiddie vibe

what the fuck are you talking about

It looks like an app for kids

it's just you

Telegram secret chats have a deletion timeout from 1 second to a week I think.

suck it up

>app
>somehow not for kids
good luck

How will that remove the text from the user's hard drives?

Browsers delete their cache eventually. You could also tell the browser not to cache it but don't expect them all to comply.
How will using Snapchat or other apps prevent the user from copying the text? Or taking a screenshot?

>Browsers delete their cache eventually.
How will that remove the bits from the hard drive? How will that prevent somebody from copying it to a different place? How will that prevent somebody from copy/pasting or taking a screenshot of the display? How will that prevent somebody from using ‘wget’ to download a permanent copy?

>How will using Snapchat or other apps prevent the user from copying the text? Or taking a screenshot?
That's what I'm trying to ask you!

Exactly. If you don't want anyone from remembering your messages just don't send them.

Show me an adult app.
Huntington banking app? Because adult apps work and run like a pile of shit

>Show me an adult app.
YouPorn app

Proprietary formats. Turn the text into a proprietary image format, using encryption to make the raw data worthless to anyone who copies it, and to anyone who wants to access it without the detonation flag. When the proprietary reader loads the data into RAM, it destroys the original. If it cannot destroy the original, it does not decrypt the data it loaded into RAM. After successful destruction it decrypts the data and displays it.
To copy it you'd have to remember what it said and then write it down manually or take a picture of the device then OCR it manually or otherwise.

While this doesn't solve every problem, software with this kind of design would be fairly resistant to anything but the most dedicated attacks.

You could always make a copy of the original before opening it with your proprietary crap so it only destroys one copy. And you can still take screenshots. Taking a pic of the screen with your phone is not a dedicated attack, it's as unsophisticated as can be.

Faggot

>he believes in magic crypto pixie dust
I'm sure your mythical DRM format will work where all others have failed

line.

OTR

This thread is shit.
Shit.

Doesn't that just make sure third parties don't read the messages?

There's no realistic way to prevent someone from copying a message you send them. Either tell them in person or don't send the message at all.

Non-meme answer coming through. Pay attention.

The app you want is Bleep

>reverse image search, no results

got more pics?

Cyberdust

Wickr is pretty good for sexting imo

Google Allo will have an incognito mode with end to end encryption that deletes the messages after you close the chat

>pregnancy
Truly the worst fetish

Fuck off m8.
