You can't kill what's already dead.

What is dead may never die

>Tripfag

Kill yourself

It will be resurrected as a chinese sweatshop worker zombie.

Who gives a sweaty shit? It's nothing more than a Chrome clone with a built in adblocker these days.

What happened to the built in"VPN" doesn't seem to work anymore.

people used it, probably

Was dead when they abandoned Presto.

dis desu senpai baka

...

Tripfag gets something right for once.

Opera died three years ago.

I remember Opera mini being the only usable browser on my Blackberry Curve.
RIP, nostalgia.

It doesn't surprise me.
After i abandoned Chrome (after test trying it to see if it is worth it to move from Fireshit),
i tried Opera. I wanted to see whether Opera at least fixes the lack of tab lazy loading in Chrome.
At least that shitty lazy loading extension on Chrome works for 10 seconds (but ain't worth a shit for sessions of over 80 tabs). Opera doesn't even have any lazy loading.

If you are gonna be a copy of Chrome, at least fix some of the complete and utter shit points of Chrome. Opera is basically an even shittier Chrome.

Welcome to the other botnet.

yeah opera mini is also the only decent android browser I'll be sad to see it go, or turn into chinese botnet, maybe those guys who split off to make their own version of opera whose name I can't remember at the moment, will produce their own version of opera mini

Still the best browser by far.

You only live twice, Mr Bond.

no, but you can desecrate the corpse

Pretty sure Opera was dead since quite a time ago

Nah, once they switched to Chropera SeaMonkey and Firefox became better.

Well, at least there's still Vivaldi I guess.

Such a sad thing to hear, it was fast as hell and didn't constantly assault me with google shit.

Which is rubbish, shut up. It looks okay-ish and has a couple of nice features, but nothing amazing and even since 1.0 it runs like shit, contrary to all the reviews I've read. It's noticeably slower than chrome, and if it's noticeably slower than chrome I don't give a rat's ass about it.

Of course it's noticeably slower, the UI is written in Node.JS. It's essentially a Chromium web app running fullscreened.

Chinese investors promised the Norwegian government they would keep all Opera R&D in Norway.

I was using it in the hospital since they blocked the 4chans.

I just threw up in my mouth.

I trust Chinese software more than American software.

Come home.

Yeah me too, ching chong ching chong

>>>/global/rules/11

bitch it aint for xp

>XP

It's 2016. XP is dead. Microsoft killed it. It's time to move on.

XP lives on as POSReady 2009, which still receive updates for three more years.

fucking google, they should have made Chromium closed source.

ten years from now there will be at least 100 chromium based browsers

>ten years from now there will be at least 100 chromium based browsers
Aren't we practically at that point already? One, two years tops sounds like a more practical estimate

are you going to send me money to replace my xp atom netbook?

You're using an old embedded OS made for CASH REGISTERS as a desktop OS of all things.

It costs literally nothing to install a free Linux distribution like Xubuntu, a modern OS.

xubuntu.org/

It's rebadged XP, I don't give a flying fuck about its intended purpose.

Why are you still using Windows XP?

I am only using Opera for porn'n'shit. Don't care if it is NSA or CHINKSA who see what kind of catgirls I am fapping.
Vivaldi for accounts and work.

Best Windows choice for a ULV Core Solo with 512MB RAM

We have our own share of hipsters.

You'll get greater performance out of a lightweight Linux distro.

>thinking it wasn't part of their plan

Google has a way of being amazingly sticky.

No shit, notice I said "best Windows choice," not "best choice." I dualboot OpenBSD.

Cost millions to upgrade the entire environment.

Yes I own a mid-sized business (read:cybercafe). After this I'm seriously considering of using linux for each and every computers in my premise

Opera Presto was the shit, light on resources, fast loading pages, lots of functionality out of the box.

Three years old and it's still the best browser

im poor

This desu senpai.

>it's been three years already
rip ;_;

Linux is free.

>mfw have never fucking used Oprah b4
>mfw dont give a fuck

I still use Opera 12 as a mail client.

I still use it as a browser and mail client. You know Opera Mail exists as a standalone client, right?

It is only usable in private windows.

Vivaldi?

Yes I know, but it is just a gimped version of O12. It doesn't have notes.

China is the only fucking "relevant" country I hate.

Fuck China.
