Because it's the newest and best version of Windows.
>it's free for a limited time
Biggest lie ever told.
They want data. Data is the most valuable thing in the next century and they want to establish an universal botnet.
I think Microsoft will make windows and office completely free. They'll just make money selling data to ad farms and security agencies.
So that they can collect ad data and ad money, and hopefully force people to use windows store apps
>best version of Windows.
For the NSA.
it's already free, i installed 7 with no key and upgraded to 10 by just pressing next over all the warnings
now it's activated. science.
And for me too.
Because it has ads and enhanced tracking that let Microsoft harvest more money from your computer use, and takes away certain user controls that prevent Microsoft from having total control of your PC.
Cuck.
Because Jews
>Why is windows so god damned insistent on upgrading to Windows 10?
It's not Windows, it's Microsoft. They are actually two completely different things.
>stupid fucking people will be the death of us all
Who knows, but getting that damned popup, it scheduling an upgrade from clicking the x, then it popping up again within a half hour is just fucking unacceptable, what the hell are they thinking?
Save your self.
Because they don't want to spend time and money supporting all the laggards using deprecated OSs. It's easier for them and us and everyone if all users are updated.
>this is what M$ shills actually believe
How is it better for anyone that MS is forced to spread out their resources instead of focusing on one thing that everyone uses?
>upgrade now
>upgrade tonight
If you close it it updates now.
...
>always threaten to install Linux
>I'm g-gonna do it
>I do it
>It works more smooth than windows and has unlimited customization options
Lol so is the Linux is hard and complicated and barely works thing a meme or what?
absolutely. Everyone with half a brain can use Linux just as easily as they can use Windows.
They have one job: Support their customers.
And they don't want to do it.
And their customers are still defending them.
Literally retard.

>fuck off bill
>not upgrading just because u can jump a chair
Let us know when you leave your moms basement and enter the real world and understand how it works.
tl;dr It's not hard at all.
It was so easy on the laptop that I was baffled by it. Sure, it was a *buntu, but it opened up the world to me. The desktop side however, was just awful for some reason. Ubuntu's most recent release at the time, 15.*, was using the Debian stretch installer and it refused to install correctly. I eventually ditched everything and moved onto Debian stable where things got a little more complicated, but it wasn't anything that I could look up and fix myself. Now running Debian testing with no reason to go back, all I'm missing is a KVM so Windows can live on the corner of my storage whenever I feel to gayme things outside Linux.
Isn't that malware? I mean Microsoft is using tactics that usually "bad programs" use. How is this shit allowed?
Didn't even read your post because I already know you are mentally deficient and your opinion doesn't matter, go play some video games.
>How is it better for anyone that MS is forced to spread out their resources
So instead they force unwanted software onto people's computers?
>instead of focusing on one thing that everyone uses?
But not everyone wants it, nice try shill. And nice business model. The customers need to adapt to the companies wants, not the other way around? There you have it, ladies and gentleman, we've reached the pinnacle of consumerism.
>Because they don't want to spend time and money supporting
>MS is forced to spread out their resources
Bawww, poor Microsoft. ;__; They weren't too concerned with that decades ago when they were too busy pumping their software into every device on the shelf shy of Macs. So, legacy support shouldn't be a thing because microshill decided everyone should use touchscreen? top kek

No problem , its on me.
Am I the only one who hasnt had any of these prompts to upgrade? Is this just a meme?
That's why there's a tl;dr. Thanks for the (You) I guess.
It's not like anyone important enough has been affected and the ones that do can't really do anything about except complain. At best MS _might_ get fined few years from now but so what?
...
Yes, and it is perpetuated by shills and people that hate free software. I was baffled the first time as well. Especially because it was harder to install windows 7.
Even I can use Linux, and I am 12.
...
And all that came out of it were few laughs, really. Nothing's changed.
Pls respond.
This "windows 10 prompts/forces upgrades" is honestly a Sup Forums meme right? Ive never been prompted once, im using windows 7.
Or is it a Windows 8 thing?
Holy shit is this the tech equivalent of #NeverTrump? Sad!
NOt a meme, happened on my win 7 machine too before I blocked all updates. Windows even downloaded 6gb of installation material for the upgrade without asking me. Was in a hidden folder which I deleted afterwards.
You guys must have poorly optimized settings or something.
I have updates on and am fully updated, still Windows 7.
Dunno, I allowed windows to install all updates before that shit hit the fan. When it reached my computer I looked up what to do to avoid that stuff.
>fully updated, still Windows 7.
That's a contradiction
Its not even an option in my Updates. Ive never had one pop-up or even a mention of it and I use my pc at least 10 hours a day for the past 4 years or so.
I feel like I'm getting meme'd on.
I hope some bad organisation finds and uses Win10 backdoors for their own use and then threatens Microsoft to "destroy" all PCs running W10.
Or even funnier: they use W10 backdoors to installiert gentoo on all Windows 10 machines
> poo CEO
That's why
What happens when you click "Choose time"?
Basically this. Maybe one day they'll be a direct competitor to jewgle.
None of my proper Win7 machines have ever received the prompt, but when I installed a Win7 virtual machine it got the logo in the notifications almost immediately (and refuses to upgrade because the graphics adapter isn't supported)
also ms wants to have numbers to show for dx12
Because Microsoft wants to give your mother cancer, gonorrhea, alzheimer, HIV and syphilis
