Instead of all this botnet shit why doesn't somebody come up with something useful. Like a way for me search for local images based on description, not just title, type, dimensions, etc. For example, I type in spiders and it shows me all the pictures I have saved with spiders in it.

Image recognition isn't that simple, user.

OP, you dumbass, go to bed

You mean like OneDrive does?
And yes, you can search locally in this manner as well.

better start solving captchas

fug
botnet wins again

>nignog

They are working on it OP.

lol it's ezpz, just fucking name your files based on content instead of 1459191111563.jpg

>solving captchas
hasn't seem to have improved goggle's image search tho tbqh famalam
And speaking of captchas, fuck you, I don't feel like playing your flip-card game. Too lazy to switch it to street signs though.

assuming you replied to wrong post
>hasn't seem to have improved goggle's image search tho tbqh famalam
that's because i do it wrong every time cuz fuck google

Does google not do this?

Sure, it does.

How can free software compete?

I would like a simple tagging tool for winduws myself.

It won't because its users are afraid of letting anyone have copies of their files.

Yeah, but will OneDrive or Google let me search through TBs worth of meams?

>ezpz

Well lucky for you it is literally built in.

If you don't like this, you can just make folders and pretend they're tags by symlinking files that belong to your 'tag' into the folder

both of those are anything but "simple" to do on the fly and the windows one is just plain bad, I've tested using it quite a bit but its shit.

Adding tags fast would be required instead of hopping through all those hoops

Well just wait, winfs is coming soon

LOL, you don't meta you data?

I have been using DropBox for ages, I save most of my shit on my dropbox, as in pictures I save from Sup Forums etc, theres shota, loli, beastiality, rape, weird porn, murder, gore etc is it safe to use OneDrive or GoogleDrive with them?

What do you think reCAPTCHA is collecting all that data for?

safe from your grandma:
yes
safe from NSA:
nope
not that they give a shit

>woman holding ribbon cable against butt.jpg
sauce

all that shit is for children. Grow up already.

the botnet cloud storage or the bad porn?

>Saving images
>You effectively owning any data
>Data you can preserve against censorship and removal
>Data you can share with others for free
>Data you don't pay a regular fee on
>Data that can't be combined with usage stats

That's not what the corps want

...

The botnet storage. Weird porn is a direct result of adulthood.

See, normies are eternal children. That's why they still like playground games (sports) and think shiny things make them cooler.

What would you trust more? Or witch one of them is less shitty? OneDrive or Google Drive?

I'm saying it doesn't matter. neither are guaranteed government proof and both will get the job done. Pick the one with prettier colors.

...

Just one more question, the metadata search only works online on both? It wont add metadata to files in explorer?

...

saved
(for no reason since I'll never find it again)

What do you think is on that USB drive, Sup Forums?

Holy shit, awesome! It actually tags text inside pictures! AWESOME, searching for a thread screenshot with seconds for example

Also, image recognition would be useful for cameras. Say you take a picture of a sunset, it tags it sunset, sun, sky, dusk, etc. You take a picture at a birthday party, it tags it birthday, cake, balloons, etc.
>when will this technology be available for everyday use by anyone and how hard is it to implement

>mfw someone tells me instagram does this already

Instagram does this already user

220V ~50Hz mains or it's one of pic related

Ah well, I'm not sure but I guess the way g00gl and M$ do it is to tag pictures (based on some A.I.).

So when you search for something it really just does a look up in their database.

So if you want to have something yourself, you either add tags yourself or build some AI that does it for you (might be a little bit difficult).

>windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/tag-pictures-easier-find#1TC=windows-7

>this kills the USB

Pretty good idea user.

Also if you take a picture of that person it should include the name. And a small medical and criminal record, just the most important parts.

Maybe google glasses is for you?

How about a program that scans and compares your images to a database of known images and tags them accordingly.

Open source, of course.

It's a shame you must equate innovative technology with invasive and orwellian.

FUCK OFF JORDAN
REEEEE

I wouldn't want my porn to be compared to any database.

YOU'RE PORN COMES FROM A DATABASE, LOSER

>YOU'RE PORN

I wish user I really do

Hydrus. Basically a booru engine for local files.

sounds interesting

...

Most of the shit I try it says
>I think it's two giraffes in a fenced in area.

NOPE

>no one should own data
And they call open sores communist.

>a program that scans and compares your images to a database of known images and tags them accordingly
botnet. the idea

How do you charge it?

One exists.
For anime images.
demo.illustration2vec.net/

I'd rather save all my lolis on onedrive, at least they didn't overtly scan everything for ad potential like jewgle does

that's why i'm getting all these dog dildos and adult diaper ad's, fuck

You're one severely sick fuck

you don't, it uses the 5V from the USB, probably uses a boost converter to step up the voltage which in turn charges those big capacitors.

Thanks love

>reverse image search on this

Yup, it's true
kukuruku.co/hub/diy/usb-killer
>charges the capacitors 110V then applies it to the signal lines of the USB port

Yes, a botnet. Used to your advantage for a change, not the other way around.
