This but even then it's not the radiation itself causing cancer but the massive energy output heating up tissue which raises the chance of cancer by lightly cooking cells.
These days the most energy intensive part of the phone is the processor and screen. lte and wifi antennas probably output like 1w of non-ionizing radiation at worst.
