The shills for every brand are on full force today, go fuck yourself.

But it's so ugly. Id rather have the reference card

>Asus fell for the 3 fan meme

Don't use a windowed case stupid ricer faggot

I don't. But it's still an ugly card

>his case isnt a large black rectangle

why do you care if its ugly its going inside your case

autism

It is a fucking black rectangle. That doesn't make 3 fan cards any nicer

you are going to toss it into your case and only look at it during your every 6 month cleaning i fail to see why you care

Voids your home fire insurance

My point still stands. I don't really care, but it's still an ugly card.
A Fiat Multipla might be an alright car, but that doesn't mean it isn't ugly as sin.

but you would have to see it daily you wouldnt have to see the card very often

>gay men

You stare at a car all day. You get to see your video card as often as you see your dad.

How much the oem cards differ from reference card in hardware and software?
Like, if we use generic gpu drivers instead of oem drivers, would it differ anyhow ?

This website is useless. I can't find a "buy" button.

>ASUS

Enjoy literally being told to go fuck yourself if you ever need an RMA.

OEM software is absolute shit. Don't ever use it. OEMs might use better quality components (might), but don't ever install any of their software. Stick with the Nvidia drivers.

They usually use a higher clock base and a better cooler.

True. But you still know it's there. In all it's ugliness. I just cant fathom why there are so many cards from OEMs that look like shit. At least they don't use any edgy 3D girl ninja stickers anymore. Why can't cards be like this anymore...

i couldnt give less of a shit what my card looksd like so long as it functions

That's fine

I know oem drivers are shit.
I wanted to know what customization oems makes to nvidia drivers ,if any, apart from user interface.

I recently fixed a friend laptop...man...finding generic manufacturer driver for each component was very frustrating. I couldn't even identify all the devices.Had to make up with some oem drivers then.

>muh rgb lighting
>muh gay pride lighting

Bulllshit i did it 3 times always.outstanding support

>1080 goes up to 200C
>three fans go to 200000RPM
>computer case starts to take off
>flies 25000m in the stratosphere
>there goes another malaysia air flight

asus cards are shit

>Industry Only Auto-Extreme Technology with Super Alloy Power II
what the fuck am I reading

Holy shit that sounds like a must buy

>ASUS ROG Strix GeForce® GTX ... 1080

This shit just keeps getting more retarded. Could it get any worse?

>ASUS ROG Strix GeForce® GTX 1180 BROUGHT TO YOU BY DEWRITOS™

Those are great though

why not? have Gigabyte R9 280 (not 280X) with 3 fans and It's overclocked to the max with Afterburner and it never goes above 60C on full load, even after 2 hours

Yeah but aren't small fans that have to move at a higher RPM just going to be louder? I understand they are responsible for a smaller portion of the card compared to two fan setups but it just seems like it'd be noisier.

As an engineer and totally not a shill I can confirm it is some truly amazing stuff, same kind of material apple puts in their top-end computers.

atleast change text from time to time.. reported

It is cooling the fins that is spread out across the board. So more coverage/lower RPM.

>/vr/
>video cards
You what.

did ASUS just use PCS design?

That's a nice case

>2016
>1080
When's the 4K model coming out?

300w and no liquid cooling... Looks like a volkswagen engine with gaymen rgb lights

Arent both Asus and Power Color owned by the same company?

So when and where can we buy this? I'm getting two for my new monitor.

Just think that there exists the possibility of this poster not being a genuine shill and is just blinded to hell with marketing.

Three fans is great but it makes the card longer. I barely got my Sapphier R9 290 into my Fractal R4 case (I had to remove the center cage).

>viral marketing
>no price
fuck off

over-clocked version for $639.99
stock-clocked version for $619.99

> caring about the looks of a card, fucking kek.

>mfw i have two windforce 290x

is a good cooler without being too ricey.

okay how big is this fuckin thing

i've been using a 770 for ages and i'm honestly worried this won't fit in my case

sometimes you have to cut out a hard drive bay to make long cards fit in small cases, i've had to do this twice. a pair of tin snips will do the job, sand the edges so you don't cut yourself. you don't need all those hdd bays anyway.

look at the specs and get a tape measure, voila!

What the fucking are you drinking That's not Coolaid... There no such thing has a OEM driver... All Drivers come from Nvidia Or AMD
There OEM Overclocking tools but that's not drivers ...

BUT THIS ONE HAS A RGB LIGHTS, DUDE

yes, rgb lights to let everybody know you're a faggot.

except nobody ever sees it because nobody ever sees their pc anyway because they're hermits posting on Sup Forums all day.

>buying a meme card

kek

Yeah, nobody's buying that you dumb Asus shill. They have the worst aftersales support in the industry.

Someone make a fucking quadcopter out of these please

It's so fucking ugly lmao

When can we get a simple card like the old club 3d ones?

Asus Strix announcement: June 4th launch, $620/$640

HAHAHAHA

All the fgts that couldn't wait a week.

HAHAHAHA

>remember when coolers where good
Then we look back and find cards that dance between curazay and ugly.

>8+6 pin

I think I'll wait for a real man's card thanks.

Enjoy your actual house-fire
they call it the devil for a reason

Is this real life?

It's literally real

Is it literally powered by hellfire and dammed souls? That would explain a lot.

I'd actually be a little afraid to have that in my house. A lot afraid.

I'm just waiting for the 1060, I'm fine with 1080p 60FPS desu, if anything I'd just downsample some games

Just buy a 970 now then. They're cheap af probably.

You can already get that for sub 250 freedom bucks

Might get one when the price goes below 200 probably, I'd like to see the 1060's benchmarks before I make a decision.
In the meantime, my 960 is doing just fine

Gonna grab a 1070, I think. 1080 is nice but let's be honest here, I'd rather put the rest of the cost into upgrading my 2550k when the next intel chip drops.

Currently have an evga gtx 980ti classified. Gets to 1550mhz boost with only +50mv. Also has a warranty I can utilize to get my $750 back. So a question. How are the non X fury's? Worth their $500 tag? I notice I rarely if ever fully utilize the power of the 980ti and was wondering if the fury would be a good substitute for 1440p gaming. (Single 32" 60hz panel).

Local Microcenter has the Sapphire nitro edition for $510. Figure I can use the extra cash back I'd get to upgrade something else. Maybe replace the aging dual core in my server with an 8 thread cpu. Thoughts?

I meant 300*****

>he already has a 960

Just use that user.

>people couldn't possibly be excited about the new gpu's being rolled out on a fucking tech board

Really?

Smart guy.

They're a mess 2bh.

I'd just sell it and put that into the new card so it's fine, I live in a third world country so I can resell my 960 for 200+ bucks. I'd just get the new card next time I go to burguerland on vacation

Still? I'll admit that I bought the 980ti to replace a problem ridden fury in the past. Flickers on the desktop, ram that refused to down clock, random black screens.

I bought that fury to upgrade from a single r9 290 that was struggling maxing 1440p. So I know even a 390X won't do it.

Guess I'll just sit on my 980ti then. I mean all I really play lately is dark Souls 3, and occasionally pop into WoW.
>although maxing out the field of view slider in DOOM on ultra while still getting 60 fps was nice.

A classic In-win case would be a neat build.

You made the right move going to the Ti. Don't make the same mistake twice and go back to a Fury. Check some frametime benchmarks from somewhere like pcper to see what I mean.

Frame time? After looking at benchmarks I am a bit leery. Seeing the fury have a minimum frame rate of 11-13fps in some titles while the 980ti dips to maybe 35 is worrying.

Ah well. I'll just sit on the ti then. Just figured I'd try to give AMD another chance. They already lost me to Intel for CPUs.
>Zen and Vega will change everything! Right??..

I really wish she weren't winking

She's not winking that is how Asian eyes look
