What distro do YOU use, user?

What distro do YOU use, user?

Gentoo.

ARCH BECAUSE IT IS CLEARLY SUPERIOR

os x Mavericks
can be classified as a distro

Mint

Windows 10

This

gentoo, arch and debian on three different computers. i also have a windows partition for my girlfriend (she needs proprietary programs)

Xubuntu

xubuntu

admittedly, I mainly boot into Win7 now though

arch

Why

>Girlfriend
>Girl
>Friend
Am I seeing things?

im not sure wether this is a sensible use of both human and material resources

elementaryOS

arch, kubuntu and xubuntu

why the hell would i want windows then? i've no need for proprietary software at all (except for bios and shit)

What's the best distro for somebody who has never used Linux before?

Nt 6.1 cuz fuck linux

Ubuntu mate

Linux Mint. Going to install Kubuntu soon. Or should i install an another distro?

my first was slitaz. it was a major fucking pain. use the fucking internet and figure it out

Any flavor of Ubuntu. My personal vote would go for Xubuntu.

Debian because I'm waiting for NetBSD support to mature for my SBC

Debian

Antergos

Dont install kubuntu. Its buggy af
If you want KDE get OpenSUSE rolling

>>my personal vote
sweet dear jesus have mercy

Slackware. Pick up the Slackbook and start reading :)

Ubuntu or one of the flavors like Xubuntu / Ubuntu MATE

>NT 6.1
My man

Arch Linux.
I don't really give a shit about muh bleeding edges, and I try and keep my system stable.
I'm guessing most people who say that Arch Linux is a timesink is either a normal person, or fucking up their PC with pacman -Syu because >muh bleeding edge

Antergos

Arch without the autism™

Trisquel

Why the fuck you guys claim *buntu as different distros? It's just Ubuntu with another DE. Or do they do that just so tech illiterate faggots feel special?

All of my this

It's so that tech illiterate faggots feel successful. If pandering to them gets their foot in the door, that's a win. It's also the best way for them to eventually understand your point themselves one day.

I attempted to use:
>ubuntu
>kubuntu
>lubuntu
>puppy
>peppermint
>mint
>lite
>bodhi

Half would not install properly. The other half hated all seven of my spare network adapters. No thanks, Linus. We're done.

Fucking lol'd

>yeah man, I'm a loonix expert! I've used Xubuntu, Lubuntu and Ubuntu MATE! I don't use that shitty Ubuntu™, Unity sucks amirite?
When the faggot could've just went "sudo apt-get install xfce4", BOOM, INSTANT XUBUNTU!

void

You're just retarded.

Currently toying with slackware when I'm not using my vista computer. It's pretty comfy senpai.

I know how you feel, Xubuntu stopped working on my PC so I had to install Kubuntu, but hey, at least I'm not using Ubuntu am I right? That shit is for normies

What retarded computer do you use?

Arch because it's fucking stable.

An old Sony Vaio and an old Dell tower. One was 512 and the other a gig of memory. Was trying to find an excuse not to throw them out.

Use slackware or some fork probably supports your old ass computer and is pretty lightweight.

Arch Linux

this

install osx

Thanks I'll give it a shot. Also my modern everyday system runs 7. Which gives me no trouble at all and cost me nothing.

Fuck your mother.

ChaletOS
Not even Memeing

Pajeet please.

Not this. I use Debian.

kys

It comforts me that you are irritated.

install osx or kys

A new record I should say

Elementary OS, is like Ubuntu but tuned for make it even easier to install and maintain.

The options are one and the same, señor.

I'm getting an Asus eee 1005HA, no os is installed, what distro does Sup Forums recommend putting on it?

Windows 7

OpenBSD 5.9

Windows 6

Arch linux because I have a big cock and I get laid everyday.

This

Arch Linux

Android.

Qubes OS

Solaris

Ubuntu and debian

Mainly because I don't care.

Gentoo GNU/Linux.

Arch and Ubuntu.

...

Fedora
A lot of software pipelines I use are developed on it. Also gnome is pretty comfy.

Debian unstable
Windows 10 in a vm for the two times a year I actually need a botnet.

This is the objectively correct choice.

Arch on my personal desktop/laptop, Debian on my server cluster, ubuntu on a machine I just wanted Netflix to run out of the box on.
