>applel in charge of laptops

does anyone have that video MSI used to have on their youtube channel of them 'demonstrating' proper techniques for applying thermal paste?

they did shit like applying an entire tube and smearing it everywhere.

oh my god... make him stop please

i'm triggered.

Not because of the thermal paste method. but this pic is clearly from a motherboard replacement tutorial.

>spending $500 for a laptop motherboard replacement

>not posting msi thermal paste application tutorial

nvm i found one of them

Most probably don't even know why you're cringing

Pea method is only good method for cpu. Everything else is a waste of time and paste.

That's stupid, some shitty after market paste and even smearing it... how idiotic.

>In this moment, I am triggered. Not because of any phony thermal paste method. But because, I am seeing clearly this is a motherboard replacement tutorial.

kekekekekekekekekek

Honestly feel l I've the msi dude is gonna smash some eggs on the mobo any moment

I haven't watched it, but by the thumbnail I'd say its iJustine when Jobs died?

Yes.

Damn I'm good

Did you miss the part where the paste came in a jar?

Are you projecting or something?

The attitude of the friend is pretty funny.

>Yeah, I'm so... "sad"... For you.
>Yeah... He's changed the world... Uhh, for the better, yeah totally >_> . . .

He makes 2 videos showing how to DIY that shit, then doesn't show it running with the new cooler. What's the point ? Was he afraid that the temps weren't what he could expect ?

There's a part 3 and Part 4, basically the card is mostly held back by it's power delivery and voltage

lol wut

What actually triggers me most about this guy is that he keeps cutting the video. It's almost as if it's stuttering just so he can save that whole half a second every 3 seconds.

This hurts me physically

Early PS1's had quite good lazers and decoders

5 seconds

youtube.com/watch?v=HADz7BMJ1aY

>good lazers
The lasers were garbage on the early ones. Just look at the failure rate.
>lol, just turn the ps1 on it's side or put it upside down lel.
Fuck that shit...

Decoders were actually good for 90s standards. Today it's just a meme to use a SCPH-1002 as a CD-Player.

The editing makes me cringe more than anything else desu

Shut up, you're gonna ruin my business selling old PS1's to audiofags. Idiot.

He had to spread it somehow.
Finger smearing isn't that bad a method.

What's cringey about it except the huge amount of thermal compound?

The huge amount of thermal compound.

youtu.be/V48KJEP1-sE

...

>He had to spread it somehow.
No he hadn't to. The heatsink would've done it through the sheer magic of physics!

Holy shit, there's no way this is real. Who would be stupid enough to do this?

You fucking fuck. Just seeing it makes so fucking angry. You better delete this now.

Lazers doesnt really matter for audio stuff... if it can read the bits, then all that matters is skipping/dust/ how long it lasts.
What was good about some early models of the PS1 was they had really good dacs, for the 90s at least. Nowadays, any 40$ usb dac will beat it.

it was the DAC that people wanted, for some reason sony threw one in that was normally in like $500+ systems. but ya now its basically just a meme, if you can get an earlyish ps1 cheap or for free though it makes for a good budget sound system, I wouldnt go spending anything ludicrous on one though

> Pea method
Wtf is this? I apply it with my finger.

Delete this.

you should kill yourself to be honest famalam

DELETE THIS

fuck

Please someone tell me this is her overreacting on purpose.

Wtf, what episode is that from?

I AM BEYOND MAD

ramimalekonline.com/gallery-photos/rami-maleks-photoshoot-for-the-wrap-magazine-photographer-hollenderx2

Interestingly, they've only managed to hit just below 2.2Ghz, despite early claims by some AIBs of 2.5Ghz on their water-cooled models. It seems that the reference card is gimped in power delivery and will not OC past that amount (on average), so people may have to buy third-party designs if they want to make full use of custom cooling. Previously, even a reference 980 Ti board could reliably hit 1450mhz on water on it's stock phase design.

samefaggot

you sure caught me :^)

NEEDS MOAR PASTE

I tried the plastic bag method once. It was an unmitigated failure.

I want to find the fucker who spread this lie and slap the shit out of them.

It's like he's afraid of even half a second of dead air. I can't even concentrate on what he's talking about.

Cringe.

I mean what were they thinking here? a beta neckbeard can't masturbate and build a computer at the same time, can he now?

kekekekkekekekekkeekkkkek

TOP FUCKING KEK

learn how to same fag

Fucking asshole. Even if made up...

just put a pea sized blob down and don't do anything to it

it will spread itself out when the heatsink is put on

...

...

What's cringe about this?
That keyboard is pretty flat, brushing of the wood afterwards is easy.

This was one of the greatest. /pol was alight with rage threads.

How much paste do you need?

pea size

Mac fag detected.

I'm not though

I actually know a lot about the early ps1 lasers. They ARE good lasers. They only stop working because the track is made of plastic that wears out as the laser slides back and forth. The worn out tracks let's the laser wobble and mispoint at the data, thus looking like the laser failed. Turning the console upside down ensured the laser wouldn't be tilted ain't ain't angle.

Later tracks were made of metal.

Actually going from like 8 to 16 will work, it will thread one core twice, useful for heavy multithreading programs.

this physically hurts me
where is this from?

I think it's from proprofs.com/certification/comptia/a-plus/exams/HW-E1/exam.shtml, but I can't test since it uses Flash. Suitable for an exam asking that question.

I guess some hamplanet came up with that nugget of wisdom.

>To Hack the console, get close, then PRESS and HOLD the X button
>Data Knife
>Consoles

What is this abomination? lelkek

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>data blade used to hack computers
>has an edge and serrations
Can I hack enemy soldiers, too?

I don't get it.

>Oh man, that's so sad...
>Can we just eat our fucking food!

newfag spotted

>at least that's what my friends tell me

I mean... it's silly, and a waste, and incredibly ugly, but it's not really harmful.

Can YOU find everything wrong in this picture?

Is there something that is not wrong with it?

Why isn't she in the kitchen?

that's a woman

>ring on
>no grounding line on worker
>board not on insulated surface
>holding iron on hot / improper area
>iron contacting non-solderable area of board
>soldering a PCB / motherboard
>no quench / holder for iron
>power supply / cable for iron across open floor as tripping hazard
>shirt does not complement colour of environment

She was trained well in the kitchen, her hand has extreme temperature resistance.

>>shirt does not complement colour of environment
What the fuck?

She's also in a biochem lab.
