nice thinkpad, what model is it

- personal phone (redmi 2 in flip case)

Standard is too expensive and uninteresting for me. Mainly EDH and pauper.

Competitive standard decks are still less than competitive modern. My lgs always has some great deals on singles and trading with the community also helps so no problem there. But yeah, it is not very interesting atm.
I play pauper the most anyway, only there you can build a $5 novelty deck that actually ends up being playable.

I don't vape at the moment, the picture is just old.
Also anyone who thinks trackballs are stupid, you should try one. It's extremely useful at controlling presentations when on foot.

Don't have them on tappedout yet but the modern pauper is basically 1/1 deathtouch shit that I enchant/equip to tap and deal one damage. Very casual, doesn't stand much chance against any kind of spell heavy deck.
The modern is a U/R prowess aggro, not finished yet but managed to finish 3rd on last fnm.

In all honesty these threads are rarely things people take every single day.
That's because the things you don't leave home without are very few in reality and the thread would be dull.
This is more of a "things you will take with you outside throughout the week" than a /adc/

80gb external HDD

I carry a lot of stuff for work.

On the weekends I only carry wallet, phone, keys and watch.

Wallet, phone, keys, and watch are am everyday must.

Also multitool, thinkpad, notes&pens carried around for 4~5 days a week as part of work/studies.

I'm running manjaro xfce. I use the laptop everyday for work. Never failed me, however it is becoming really slow lately. If I was choosing now, I'd go for X301 or X220.

its basically just a usb external caddy for a 2.5" pata hdd
which is particularly useful for my thinkpad because it only has a 40gb hdd in it already
ive thought about replacing both with ssd's, the thinkpads with a 32gb one, and the external with the most gigantic 2.5" pata ssd i can find

Wut? Every job I've worked in the past 5 years has either completely not allowed phones on the job due to safety concerns or only allowed you to take out your phone in some areas and neither had clocks in convenient places. I also more recently dropped the cell phone meme.
