Too expensive for what it is.

What is it?

dan-cases.com/dana4.php

I ordered it in the first 30 minutes of the compaign.

how much?

Its like 350

Are the PC parts included? My whole fucking PC was 450

I ordered one, I might order another one

I (OP) ordered one in the 2-pack with a mate. First new build in 8 years so looking forward to it.

No. And you need to get a new PSU because ATX doesn't fit.

ahahahahahaha

damn i was going to try to squeeze my existing full tower pc into the obviously substantially smaller space afforded by this case, and you're telling me

you're saying

I can't

I'm sorry to be a bringer of bad news. >_

SFX is the future. There's no longer any reason to dedicate a third of your case to just the power supply and its cables. SFX PSUs are available in 600W, and soon to be 700 and 800W varieties, so not enough power is no longer an excuse. Mark my words, in ten years, the majority of power supplies sold will be SFX.

will be useless once amd release a nice high-end zen apu with vega graphics and hbm.

There's no pressing need to make smaller desktops and not much demand for it. Desktops are also losing relevancy.

>Desktops are also losing relevancy.
certainly not true. Only laptops have a chance to replace them but they are too expensive to do so.

i have this, SFX power supply and still enough space for a huge 3.5" HDD

>Desktops are also losing relevancy
This is only true for people that use them primarily for email/facebook/youtube, for which smartphones can suffice. But for people who use their PCs for work or gaming, desktops aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Anyone know of a low profile narrow 2011 cooler?

I want to put a 2699 in the OP case

>2699
>145W TDP
That's just asking for a bad time in a case like this. Understand its limitations and work within them, you'll be happier for it.

It's worth maybe €150.
I'd never pay €230 for a case.

While I do like the idea and appreciate the shifting towards compact designs, I'm not gonna bite at this buy-in price.

My bequite psu barely fits in my bitfenix prodigy as it is. Bitfenix prodigy is my fav as it has handles, this one looks visually better though. It it machined alu?

Brushed aluminium sheet for the panels.

At least that's what it looks like from the pictures.
And it's the only way it'd make sense to make something like this.

I like how the front and top are a single sheet so there's a round bend instead of a line where the flat panels would meet if it were a traditional construction.

I could use it for an HTPC or something, but I want it to be completely silent.

...

Full aluminum construction. It's manufactured by Lian Li, so it'll be the same as their other cases, if you know them.

Got this one instead

There exists no SFX PSU that is not shit

Small tryhard cases like OP's and the NCase are never going to be the future. Stuff like the Fractal Define ITX case is the future. As small as it gets without making assembly impossible for non-autists and forcing one to spend a premium on inferior-quality meme-components

Full towers and mini cases like that are utter garbage.

Medium tower masterrace

FUCK NO

Lian-Li. Mah nigguh

I'll take this for 55€ instead.

I got ones of these instead.

ITT: Poorfags.

>There exists no SFX PSU that is not shit
Not true. The new Corsair SFX units are pretty good.

>As small as it gets without making assembly impossible for non-autists
Most comments I've read on the build process in the NCASE comment on how relatively easy it is. That probably assumes you know what you're doing though, and do a proper amount of research. Bigger cases are more forgiving in that regard, I'll give you that.

Is hdd/ssd supposed to be right under video card? This sounds like really stupid setup.

It's only "right under" if the video card is in the bottom two slots, which it shouldn't be under almost any circumstances. There's at least 40-50mm between them with the card in the top slots.

There aren't any SFX PSUs with all Japanese capacitors. So fuck off you fucking poorfag.

Silverstone lists that they use all-jap capacitors, at least.

They don't. Jonnyguru opened them up.

>tfw no good cases in my shithole
>tfw shops are filled with "gaming" shit

This one?

silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=670&area=en

Then how come they haven't been sued yet?

>Then how come they haven't been sued yet?

Those who buy SFX don't really give a shit because they don't have a choice. Pretty much only Silverstone makes them.

Yeah, other than bequiet and chieftech they seem to be the only option around.

Why can't lian li cut a piece of metal cleanly.

They changed the SX500-LG to all Japanese caps for v1.1. Source: hardforum.com/threads/silverstone-sx500-lg-500w-gold-sfx-l.1834746/page-22#post-1041905617

They use an NCT machine for most of the cutting to keep costs down. It tends to produce pinching along the edges though, unfortunately.

>without making assembly impossible for non-autists

if you're building your own PC you're already in the spectrum m8

shit as fuck you mean nigger
looks like a fucking trashcan/bin/garbage bin dick

totally shit
why don't you suck dyson's dick while you are at it faggo

WAHAHAHHAHA.

gonna need peanut butter with that jelly.

Keep waiting

...

I was going for a case like that, then I found out this existed.

The lowest option on Kickstarter is $260 you dummy. Even then, it has 17 days to go and is already well over its goal, so I'm certain they will not be THAT much.

I like the idea, especially with graphics cards becoming more and more power-efficient so you don't need a huge triple-slot cooler anymore.
But it's too fucking expensive.

Waiting for a rich user to buy it and wreak havoc in guts threads.

I'm just waiting for my paycheck to come in. Won't be able to afford any components though so till next paycheck it'll be housing a single core VIA board with 1GB RAM as that's my only mini ITX board

This is clearly a man who has his priorities in life straight.

The new wave of GPUs all need huge coolers. Things like the single slot Fury X water cooler aren't commonplace yet.

I hate to say it, but tiny cases are a meme. There's no reason for it. Even if you live in Honolulu or Tokyo, where living space is really expensive, there's still no reason to choose a tiny ITX case over a micro ATX case. It's literally a difference of a few CCs. Not worth it.

ITX cases carry a huge price premium. ITX motherboards carry a huge price premium. You save a ton of money by just going to micro ATX. Not only that, but because of the extra few CCs dealing with heat won't be such a nightmare.

The money you save by going to micro ATX can go to an entire step up in CPU or GPU. It's ridiculous IMO.

but... it's so cute and tiny

Toaster. Can't you tell from the pic?

Do you understand what a hobby is?

I did not

>bottom 3 harddrives are IDE / P-ATA
>bottom 3 harddrives are only connected to the molex power connector

WHY? Do you like the sound of old harddrives spinning up simultaneously (with different rates of acceleration)?

> top 3 harddrives are only connected to S-ATA power
WAHT IS GOING ON HERE?

WHY ARE YOU NOT CONNECTING THE DATA PORTS OF YOUR HARDDRIVES?

chieftecs 500W is the same as Silverstone's 500W sfx-l
same fucking oem

If I didn't need/want a large capacity HDD/3.5" drive, I'd probably switch to a DanCase.

But for all the people complaining mITX has something inferior about it, I don't particularly understand. Maybe some arguments with temperatures, or if you ABSOLUTELY need multiple GPU's. But even in 21:9 ultrawide 1440p, one GPU is enough if you get a good one.

Who's this semen demon?

That's a Lian Li demo sample, they just use whatever parts they have lying around.

Enjoying that socket 2011 and your 7970 rebrands from 3 generations ago? :^)

>There's no reason for it.

Ever hear of traveling?

>implying anyone from Sup Forums ever leaves their house

post pics with random items for size comparison. also how much does that thing weigh?

Maybe stop being a poorfag because mini-itx is the new meme and it will stay forever. nano-itx gaming rigs when? gpu & cpu chips on 1 board pls.

I'll get a moccamaster instead fuck

Who travels with a full PC?

Laptops are for travel.

Someone that needs the power of a full size GPU? I use it for demoing VR personally.

This case is berter.

Reverse image search is your friend.

its gonna be under the desk anyway... why do you people care about being able to see the CPU and/or the components inside

LANs are still fun, you should try it

It doesn't have to be under a desk when it's this small. That's the idea. Even if you still want to put it under the desk, now it's taking up less space. I mean why not get a CRT screen, the CRT is behind the glass anyway right?

Does it float? Can you keep your pc in a big tub?
