My first optical mouse. Am I a retard or is this mouse just fucking shit? Is the mousepad wrong? Its a little dirty cloth pad. Sometimes it just stops moving with my motions. I dont fucking get it.

>Little dirty cloth pad

No shit it's your mouse mat

Hmm. It has never been a problem with my laser mouses(mice?).

I mean is this too dirty?

I haven't been this triggered in years. Clean it..... please

holy fucking autism

dem cumstains

Picture of that friction knife?

...

Its a razorblade

I mean, it didnt interfere with my g9x so. . .

Its not an optical sensor on this mouse as far as I know, is it.

Best gaming mouse I've owned do far:

amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01E3TCWXG

It's only $10 but it's probably as good as those $50 rat and razer gaymen mice.

stop 360 quick cumming on it, user.

Does it feel cheap or does it feel good in hand?

fuck logitech and their shit.

back in the day they made solid mouses that would last you years and cost you half of the price you pay today.

I bought a G402 and the piece of shit broke after only 6 months. just as they planned it.
Logitech customer support site for warranty was on maintenance for 3 fucking days so I had to call them. guy on the phone tells me that a black mousepad isn't good for the mouse and I should try white. fucking WHITE! HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A WHITE MOUSEPAD, YOU DOUBLENIGGER!? it worked for 6 months on black but now it changed it's mind? some reverse cuckery going on?

goddamn these bastards. Amazon is replacing the mouse but I'm done with logitech.

>not using a white mousepad

U a nigger?

The G502 makes use of the best sensor on the market.
Use the calibration feature, clean your mousepad and the lens, and if that doesn't help. toss that POS and get an Artisan.

I have a G402 and it's the best mouse I've ever used. Shape is perfect.
But fuck these new spaceship literally-edgy Logitech mice, I miss the old, normal looking mice.

What be mouses???

How can someone get so upset over a piece of hardware malfunctioning? Just get it replaced. Your sample size is too small to make conclusions about the brand.

That black mousepads are bad for optical mice is common sense, as it reflects little light. Any light colour will do, though.

Using a G502 now. The shape is great, but it could be a tad bit broader.
The most comfy Logitech mouse I used what the G600 though. If it weren't for the sensor, I'd get another one. I sorely miss that 3rd full-size mouse button.

>Operates a mouse on a rectangular screen
>Uses a circular pad

The mouse is fine, however it can't compensate for the end user being a retard.

Do not use the calibration feature. Leave it on stock. Calibration fucks with tracking.

Its in the middle of the two ends. Mine hasn't broken yet but it doesn't feel as sturdy as older logitech mice.

Find the g502 almost perfect, I just wish it had a button in front of the wheel.

Source on that?

I want the G900 or whatever the new wireless mouse is.
The battery life and sensor make me want it, but the maximum-edges and price make me want to wait a year for it.

Various online forums and my own experience.

I have a 502 and it works just fine. If yours is cutting out it could be the drivers or a problem with your dirty mat. You could try surface tuning and see if that helps, but most likely you should get a new/clean mat

Thanks for an actualy non-cum-related answer. I will try a new mat(even though no other laser mouse had a prob with it), then refund it. tnx

Laser mice track a smaller area generally, so it can be a little easier to track on some surfaces, but you get more jitter. Optical trackers use a larger area, so they don't captures as much sharp detail but can track more smoothly and accurately. The Pixart 3366 sensor in the G502 is supposed to be one of the best, so chances are either your mat is at issue, you have a bad cable/drivers, or you got a faulty mouse in general.

The only legitimate complaint people have made about the 502 is that it's heavy, and a few don't like the metal scroll wheel, though it was fine to me as long as your hands aren't covered in cheeto grease.

FUCKING KEK

Mice/Mouse thread time?

What are your thoughts o the G700s? is it worth getting

Do surface tuning with the Logitech drivers/software

Its predecessor the G700 was quite possibly the greatest mouse I ever used, so probably.

What about my Logitech m185?
too pro

I have an mx518 from 10 years ago which still works great

It's shit.
I bought one as a replacement for my old MxX518, it just feels bad in the hand to me, there are buttons in retarded places you cant reach without shifting your grip and others you can't press without also pressing the one next to it by mistake.
It is also too heavy, the mx518 is heavy too but for some reason the G700s feels much heavier, also it has weird glide on smooth surfaces, a fabric mousepad is almost a must for decent glide.
Sensor is good, but gets easily confused by even the tiniest amount of dust on the surface leasing to wandering mouse cursor or small jumps when trying to do small movements.

I got mine at half price of, still considering returning it.

>mfw there will never be another MX510 quality mouse manufactured due to (((Capitalism))).

lads i just went on newegg and got a 17 dollar Zelotes Spider RGB mouse, fuck it

Mine lasted 10 years of constant (ab)use.
In the end the whole thing had been repainted twice before the switches simply gave up.
RIP

it did you just got accustomed to the tracking from a dirty pad/sensor

I have a
Deathadder 3.5G
that hasn't spontaneously combusted yet. I don't play vidya anymore but it's an alright mouse. I'd like to try out an FK2 though.

Buy a new mousepad for $10 you fucking poorfag ffs.

Just fucking strangle yourself with the mouse cable.

Use the Logitech software to calibrate it.

Best multipurpose mouse imo. A touch too heavy but that only matters when gaming

>Zowie
Good mouse but overpriced and featureless.

What would you recommend in a similar shape then?

When from G500 to G502, as I always say once you get used to the infinite scrolling they have in place you can't live without it. Buttons are perfectly placed and sized for my fingers.
No complaints aside from the edgy looks.

This. I have to keep fixing the doubleclick on my G500. When it finally dies, I might get a G900.

You mentioned double click issue for the G500, I had that too and kept fixing it for over a year. Fixing the spring would make it work for a couple of months and then you had to fix it again.
Mine didn't completely die but when the middle click started to be unresponsive I decided to ditch it and get the G502.
Hopefully the G502 doesn't suffer from that.

I agree had to replace it with a g500s. I miss it.

Logitech is a shit brand.

Works fine on my mat

is that.... is that neck beard dandruff

Dust and breadcrumbs mostly. Everything in my apartment is covered under a thin layer of dust

Pyyhi pölyt, huhhuh.

Ostin mikrokuituliinoja mutta ihan vitun vaikeeta saada pois tota kaikkea.
Paljonkoha siivooja maksaa, kun alkaa tulla nuhaa tästä pölystä

Osta air duster tölkkejä. Saat elektroniikan puhdistettua aika hyvin.
Siivoojat varmaa jotain 30e/h, ei mitään havaintoa.

My friend went with the same problem, it was gone after using a rigid/plastic mousepad

But fucking how. Mine stops all the time.

Faulty one, shit usb port, shit mobo
learn 2 troubleshoot retard

Get sen kanssa suihkuun, läimää kaakeliseinään kiinni ja suihkuttele puhtaaksi. Toimii noilla QcK+ -matoilla hyvin.

G502 can track amazingly well on almost any surface I've tried it on. Clean your pad, try another surface, clean the sensor, try it on other machine/USB port etc. Might as well get a decent mouse pad while you are at it too.

Pure CANCER

Double click issues are how every single of my mice died, after years of service with heavy gaming.
The only mouse that didn't last at least 3 years though is the only non-Logitech I ever used.

Im not a fan of the mouse wheel when its unlocked. When you attempt to stop it when you spin it, it sorta of fucks up and will still scroll up and down. I've had mouses with much better wheels in that regard. The optional buttons on the left side are also placed way too far forward and up for my hands, which are completely average sized. other than that its okay I guess

...

>Its 2016 people

tnx tho

I just scrub mine with a cloth and glass cleaner.
Nothing beats a glass-coated soft mousepad.

Bought a g302s. I fucking hate it

Nah man my cardboard mousemat is fine and easy to replace while also remaining cheap.

It tracks my Tecknet M133 just fine.
Cardboard is master race, why not try some?

Why?

What's the best solution if I wanted an A3 sized pad for my mouse?

I don't want to pay too much for a razer mousepad, would a cutting mat be a good alternative?

How do people live like this

Just use some water and soap, its just a fucking mousepad you autist.

Nah, he's right. There are enzymes in detergent that get rid of dirt that soup doesn't help with. Mostly proteins.
