The core2 quad died and i had a pentium 4 prescott pc laying in the floor.
I had an 800w PSU which never peaked but even with the AC on at 16ºC my room was at 35-43ºC at idle

I though i was lucky, that i was chosen by the gods to have 2 good fermi yields.

The performance was amazing.
But it came at a cost.
A cost not that not only i had to pay on the electricity bill.
But i had to pay with the pc too.
The pci slots literally melted and the VRM on both the motherboard and the gpu's began to smoke, then they got lung cancer and died.
But the Nvidia™ Certificate™ gpu killer drivers did not kill my card since my gpu's died before its release.
AMD. They're releasing their new polaris series and their new line of CPUs and have plans for the next 3 years, so I'd probably see a return.
