also do not get the EVGA 650W G1, get either the G2 or GS version

Why not the G1? Is it because it's only semi-modular?

Just wait for the rx480. Get a samsung ssd and buy a windows license from kinguin/reddit

Lose the windows license and cheap out on the case a bit more. Now you can afford a better video card.

why? even when it was new, it was stilled cucked by r9 280 and 3 year old 7970s

no one except retards would buy a 960

I'll be upgrading soon anyways.
>wait
I wish I could, I'm posting from an ancient laptop. I need this asap.

Get the rx480 later then, you can last 14 days without a gpu right?

you don't need an i7 get a 6600k

Sure. But I'm not buying a new card right away. A 960 would suit my purposes well.
I want my CPU to last as long as possible without needing an upgrade. I'm saving money in the long run, considering price difference.

Yeah sure, the 960 would be enough for 2-3 more years. And yes the i7 is fucking godlike, my friends all have i5's and i have the i7. I have more fps on like battlefield or with rendering for creative projects.

>muh fps
I wouldn't be getting that CPU to go with a budget GPU if I was just in it for AAA gaming.

Enjoy your i5 poorfag

Read the thread, I'm getting an i7. The poorfag part is accurate, though, I'm a college student.

Then wait for the 480. Igpu will be fine for a month for double the performance with a 480. If you really wanted a system that would last you the longest, get the newest hardware.

This.

Mx-7 is pretty much a gold standard. Non-conductive and lasts 7 years. Fuck wrist straps, you don't need them.

GPU is easily replaceable, but yeah, I will probably wait.
>$5 for that added insurance
I'm going with a wrist strap

The only thing really static sensitive are MOSFETs, which you will not encounter. Go watch a utube video or something. It's a waste. Or wear latex gloves when you assemble.

6600K works better in most aaa titles when overclocked. so your argument is invalid.
