>Day & Night edition
But I live in the dark
I know it's messy.
I need to be more minimal.
>Mac
Meh.
Evening will have to suffice as I don't have day/night photos.
Pretty happy with my setup at the moment.
I must bring my mic boom from home, add a Little Dot mkII and probably get a bigger desk. I also have a wireless Xbox controller on the way.
>posts clean desk with everything aligned and frames a shot
I'm serious. My desk used to be completely empty apart from a laptop.
>I got it for free.
No night picture yet
nice as always
cozy
do you actually use the 3D screen for 3D?
also the case is ugly.
very comfy
I wish my case would look that organized...
>I need to be more minimal.
pls no.
Is that a barrel under your desk?
that cable management under the desk
fucking neck yourself you degenerate barbarian.
Day
Night
just reposting
Night edition 1/2
Please rate senpai
Also what should I do with the setup?
Night edition 2/2
Gonna hacksaw the vesa mount pole things still showing behind the 4k tv
Does your high school know you stole one of their old monitors?
you broseph. To fix that warp, why don't you get some 1x2's, put them into a square and wood glue them under the table?
No one would notice. And stability.
Size of TV? Gonna buy one but sill deciding the size
Considering switching to oak anyway bud, great idea though!
Where did you get that little air tower? Does it cool your room down?
I need one because my room can get warm sometimes.
40 inch mate, had a 50 before but I kinda hated it.
Currently staying in a hotel for internship.
it's a cheap one from Amazon, and yeh it does help. I can never open a window as my cat is suicidal and insists on jumping out of it so I rely on this thing
WHAT'S UP SHITLORDS
I have the same linnmon/adils corner desk... and 2 linnmon tables on each side. The first thing I did was do that (reinforce). Ikea has very cheap and clean looking furniture, but with cheap price comes mostly cheap quality.
I have an HP office jet 8630 sitting on one and with my big ass leaning on them I knew they would warp if I didn't reinforce them.
Been holding rocky steady though. But for 60 bucks.. wtf, rite?
Noice to see another filmfag on Sup Forums. What are you shooting with?
Shit I'm in America so is there another version of this? How much does it help?
Also can you tell me a bit more about your setup?
Like what mouse pad, keyboard, mouse, monitors you use.
Thanks btw mane, it is kind of a lot.
well my main desk isn't actually a Linnmon, I had one before and that actually snapped in half when I tried to use a monitor desk clamp so I just bought a kitchen counter instead. They are way more solid, the trouble is they are so god damn heavy, I think the weight of the desk itself with no middle support caused it to flex a little. I'm just going to buy another and this time put a middle support leg, afterall Ikea is cheap.
Yeah. I don't have an ikea nearby, I ordered all my crap on line.
Their delivery system is a nightmare, as they use a 3rd party trucking company. Never again.
The closest one I've found to mine on Amazon.com is this
amazon.com
They do help a lot, they don't decrease room temperatures, they just blow a cool breeze over you, but if you turn it off the room will heat up again instantaneously. If you want to keep the room cool then you'd probably need an AC unit.
Sure, the mousemat is a corsair extended mousemat also from Amazon, the keyboard was from a private seller, it's a 1992 IBM Model M industrial space saving keyboard,
The mouse I use is unfortunately a Logitech Master MX - lags like a cunt on windows and mac.
The middle monitor is a Dell UP2715K 5k monitor, the outer two monitors are Dell SP2715K 1080p IPS monitors.
In my area they use their actual drivers to deliver the shit, thank god they don't send them troglodytes from Yodel. It's a good job they delivered too, they actually helped me carry it upstairs and put it down, the desk top is so long and heavy it takes 2-3 people to move the fucking thing.
I live in the middle of no where. The closest Ikea is 200 miles away.
I have central AC but after it turns off, or if I am gaming it can get warm, I also blame having a snake in here.
Adding another AC would be difficult and would waste a lot of electricity. I just need something to keep my room at a stable, or low temperature.
Damn that is a nice setup, mines is Maybe one day I can have it as good as you.
If you're willing to keep the fan on all the time it will help move the air round your room, I do feel your pain having snakes, I've got a Royal Python and a Corn snake fortunately they are in a different room.
Cheers mate, I freaking wish my monitors had a bezel as thin as yours, that's the one thing I dislike about my monitors.
Consider mounting your tv above your monitor, it'll free up some desk space and you can centralize everything. Nice optiplex btw, pretty much the only pre-built I think are nice.
>F5 & M6 with 50's and wider and Tri-X pushed to 1600 and beyond. Muh grain & contrast.
Trashcan
yes
Tri-X is my absolute fav B&W film to shoot with. Do you develop your own shit?
Ah, good to see you man. How's school?
Haha yea man, I have a Ball Python and the heat pad gets fairly hot. but not that much to affect the room a lot.
Thanks bro, I appreciate that. The Optiplex is very nice, I really do like it as well. I upgraded basically everything on it.
You know a lot more than me on making a setup look nice, how would I do that?
I really wanna make this setup look nice. I want to replace the painting with another one because I made a huge dent in it.
What should I, and can do senpai?
I had pretty much the same computer specs at one point
If I were you I'd move the tv elsewhere and wall mount it.
I'd re-do the setup and zip tie things as I go to keep it neat and try to hide cables as much as possible.
You should also only keep things on your desk that you need e.g. KB, mouse, monitors, pc.
Buy an ikea signum and use that to put your cables and your router on.
Honestly your setup is perfectly fine, but tidying makes a dramatic difference.
How much wall space do you have? I'm loving my 55"
If you were going to buy a new monitor. Lets just say in general. You previously had one but it broke or something. What would you look for? A nice high end 1080p, maybe 144hz or would you go for a big 4k for general desktop usage?
I had to sell my monitor because I couldn't afford to take it on the plane with me/ship it. I can spend a decent bit on a new one but I'm just not sure what is worth it, where the best value is. I'm thinking a large 4k that I'll just play the occasional game on at 1080p, for a normal desktop workload I feel like it would be incredible.
Not a whole lot desu, the room I'm in is about 13ft x 13ft.
*to be honest
wtf is with the autocorrect to 'desu'
Thanks bunches
I agree with you man, tidying up makes it look much fucking better.
It's a 32 inch TV so do I put it on top of my 24 inch monitor? Should I get a second monitor when I do that?
I don't know where to start for a vesa mount, tried looking for the model but nothing.
I can start doing all of that ASAP
Also, what do you use for your TV to hide all the cables?
I'm currently hiding my fat ps3 behind the TV, that could be more difficult with the TV on the wall.
I'd probably get a big one with a high resolution (not necessarily 4k, 2k would already be plenty imo). Something like 30 inches, though I'd have to inform myself better about monitors in the first place.
Then I'd get a second one with good viewing angles to use as a vertical monitor on the side. Vertical monitors are amazing.
I'd mount the TV actually away from the setup, imo a tv doesn't really have a place at a main setup. (I mounted mine to the right of it)
So yeh mount the tv on a different wall and then buy a second monitor preferably the exact same as your current one and wall mount the 2 of them as well (or just get an arm mount)
To hide cables I use cable conduit / box trunking. If you need a place for the PS2 to go then just mount a deep shelf underneath the tv and put whatever you need on there. Or get a small table and run the cables up to the tv through the same piece of plastic conduit.
Who else /first world problems/? I have a 27" monitor on a small desk. I really wish 1440p monitors came in smaller sizes, like 21". It's not that bad though, and I'm wall mounting it soon to get back a bit of desk real estate.
What Veda pattern does the monitor use?
vesa*
Mount it
Looks so good now that you moved the tower onto the desk.
How about you stop being a faggot and get some anime paraphernalia in there
Soooo this is the thing, I don't really have the most space ever.
So I don't know where to put my TV mane, I had it to watch movies and shows, and play the occasional console game.
How can I show you a video of my room?
The wall mount is already installed on the wall behind it. It turns out I need longer screws than what came with the wall mount to put the mounting bracket on the monitor, so those should arrive tomorrow.
Model Number: LN32D450G1D
Model Code: LN32D450G1DXZA
Windows scaling is shit and a lot of things will br absolutely tiny at 4k, so 1440p is the best compromise when you also factor in price. I'd go like 25" 1440p at the moment, and the cheapest I can find of that size is the Acer G257HU at $260. It's IPS, so it'll look better in general desktop use. The only downside is if you're a gamer, it's only 60hz and isn't freesync/g sync. But I have a 144hz monitor and the difference between 144fps and 60fps has much less of an impact on gameplay than the difference between 30fps and 60fps.
Kinda day/night i guess
Those rifles are nice, I can get Mosins and shit but people overprice them on Armslist.
Pretty good! I have my last final tomorrow and start summer classes in early July.
WHY DO YOU NEED THIS FULLY AUTOMATIC ASSAULT RIFLES CAPABLE OF 700 ROUNDS PER SECOND!?
Shit tier pic, cleaned my iPad Pro
Cheers.
Well over here, Mosins aren't as common and are therefore around the same price as SMLEs and Mausers, so i'm definitely gonna choose either of those over a mosin.
Cause children need to die
I'm having a hell of a hard time finding out the specific vesa mount specifications for that TV. All I can find is a review on newegg that said it was easy to mount kek. If I had to guess, I'd say it's 100mm by 100mm. You can just measure the distance between the holes to find out the specification though. en.m.wikipedia.org

Thinking of getting my first gun, don't know what to get.
looks like 200x200
mounts.com
MOCИHA УPAAAA!!!
The safe and logical choice is some sort of bolt action .22
Something like a Ruger American would be a good first gun
About 8 inches for the bigger inner holes, and 20 for the smaller holes further away.
Thanks for taking your time man, I fucking appreciate it dude.
Don't those mounts seem kinda expensive?
Would a 9mm be good?
I just posted that for the information, any vesa 200x200 mount will work.
Depends on the type for mount you want.
Oh nice, what classes are you taking?
What kind of 9mm? Pistol or rifle?
If you're just starting out with guns, then i really suggest starting with a .22 rifle. It's easier to get the basics of gun handling down-pat with something that has little recoil and a manual action.
But if you are familiar with guns, then sure, get whatever you feel comfortable with
I am forever thankful man :) I have said it multiple times but you deserve it for helping a guy out.
These look goods
Discrete math and a database class. Gotta knock this shit out now in order to graduate.
Day and night basically.
day and night look identical in my basement
Actually I found a deal for a Ket-Tec P3AT (380 auto) and a Kel-Tec P32 (32 auto) for $250 or one for $150. Both are functional but the 32 auto is in better condition.
Let's see if the guy responds.
I want something easier to hide, a Rifle is better but a Pistol is easier to conceal.
No problem. Also try Amazon.
Nice, I like discrete math, but I never took a database class. I think that's the only upper division CS course offered here that I haven't taken. So I take it those are the last classes you have to take, haha. Congrats!
I that a window into your bedroom? Please tell me its not that useless.
Hey man, all up to you.
I can't really say much about pistols cause all the knowledge i have on them are from youtube vids. Living in a non-free country is suffering.
The best advice i can give you on owning any gun is to practice with it until you know it inside-fucking-out.
Good luck on your deal
it is that useless
Hmm these don't look bad. Which one would you get? Don't know which one particularly.
...
Seller told me that they are already sold.
Well, I don't know what exactly to look for, or get.
.22 rifles aren't bad, and the ammo is chap, but I heard that 22 magnum is much better.
I have on similar to the first one, I also like the fact that it has a built in level. I think the brand I have is mounting dream. It depends on if you want a full motion mount that you can swivel or just a tilt one.
Holy fucking kek. I mean I do get that it was probably in there before. But its funny it actually does show your bedroom.
First one looks to be very good quality. Thing is that I don't know where I am going to mount the TV.
You think here would be a good spot? I don't have much ideas.
If you wan't something that's concealable, there's plenty of good compact .380 and 9mm pistols around. A bit of googling will give you more advice than i ever could.
Also, you could even ask on /k/ for a first gun, they'd more than likely be happy to help.
This can also be a spot.
Other than those 2 options my other choice would be against the wall in my setup.
Maybe center it up so that it looks good with two monitors beneath it.
