Welcome to America, where
>Oh, I use iMessage
>Oh, I use Skype
>Oh, I use Discord
>Oh, I use Telegram
>Oh, I use BBM
>Oh, I use Kik
>Oh, I use FB Messenger
>Oh, I use KakaoTalk
This is a real issue

...

Exactly.

Almost everyone in Australia just uses SMS and FB Messenger, so I just use Disa.

Okay.

I know, but atleast some places have just one or two standards

Everyone I know uses imessage because everyone I know uses iphones, it's just built in to the texting thing so you automatically use imessage to other iphones and sms for non-iphone

go on Twitter and search 'green bubbles', apple's marketing is fucking insane.

Just went to Japan recently, whatsapp is also pretty popular there, in fact that was the only message client I saw the Japanese use.

Here in Denmark its a little bit spread out, but from what I can gather its:
1: SMS/MMS (we have been able to send these for free for several years now, so its not much a worry, thats why its still widely used)
2: imessage (i dont really see how this is a problem though, as imessage just switches back and forth between SMS as necessary)
3: facebook messenger (this can be annoying from time to time)
4: snapchat. Especially teens use this for regular texting.

Holy fucking shit. I thought this was ironic but I kept reading, people are serious about this shit.

Italy here, if you don't have whatsapp you're considered an antisocial.
Second most used is facebook messenger I guess.
I haven't sent an sms in months. I don't know why even google is pushing a new sms app. Sms needs to die

Yes everyone uses a message app from a company whose main source of income is their hardware

I'm sure whatsapp (Facebook) whose main source of income is advertising is better for you

Here's the better question. Who the fuck uses WhatsApp? spics and yuropoors?

iMessage master race (Canada & US) reporting in

>KakaoTalk
Korean shit

>LINE
Korean shit used by Japanese people

Reporting in from England, everyone uses WhatsApp.
FB messenger is also pretty popular.

Is that on the left the bills?

:^ )

Reporting from Kebabland,
Everybody uses whatsapp.

Daily reminder that if WhatsApp is popular where you live, you live in a 3rd world country

WhatsApp/Facebook here.

Technically South America here (although we count as Caribbean for some reason) and it's the same here. Whatsapp + Facebook is ubiquitous, although Skype has a strong hold as well. I doubt most iPhone owners know how iMessage works aside from its SMS aspect (and those are pretty infrequent here as well).

Completely agree.

Viber fb messenger

When i had gf we used whatsapp bc faster picture sending than viber

What the fuck is wrong with applefags?

Scotland here. All my close friends and family use Telegram and all my acquaintances use either SMS or FB messenger.

I'm a pretty asocial Lithuanian but to my knowledge everyone here uses fagbook by default, while sms is left for emergencies, spam, and maybe buying data packs. I still have some extra apps left to contact a single person.

...

I use SMS like a normal person
Groupchats on whatsapp though, moved from groupme for whatever stupid reason.

iphonefag

My country still writes letters and uses payphones.

I have an old HTC Wildfire S, so no

I was mad at the twitter things

Why are these people always niggers or coalburners?
