I'm planning to move to Gentoo when I upgrade to a new computer.
I am not talking about everyday usage. The rite of passage when learning computing.
It also shows that most people on Sup Forums are underage faggots.

How the fuck are you people even able to recall all of the OSes you used? And in which order? What about the computers in your work? What about if you have more than one desktop? Don't tell me you use one OS and stick to it at some particular time.

I was GNU/Linux only for a while when I was ~10 years old, but then I got into gaming and started using Windows for a while. Now I am back and it is working very well. I don't even have to use my passthough very often.

Then it's time to stop being a manchild I guess

what a childish philosophy
Nice meme, but I like windows 10 because it has directx 12 and support for the best video games. Your outdated Linux just doesn't cut it.

why.
Because i enjoy GNOME.
My openbox config:

learning.
On Sup Forums?
yes
LFS is not a distro. It's a documentation on how to basically setup your own distro
Windows XP > Windows 7 > elementaryOS > Windows 7 > Ubuntu > Manjaro, later converted to Arch > Windows 10 and Fedora 23 > Windows 8.1 and Arch Linux
Good luck.
but, doesn't it has just as many "steps" as gentoo? I was referring to that, sorry
thanks
It has many more steps than gentoo. It has no package manager (unless you add one), so you have to start compiling everything from source by yourself.
Nope, Gentoo has a package manager and other tools while LFS is just documentation
