Buy online because you're a windows/steam fag anyway and in the botnet so it doesn't matter.
Buy the only high-end option, NVidia. Duh.
I just checked online and apparently high end AMD cards don't exist there either
>MFW I want it to be a lie but it's true
They kind of do (Fury/Fury X), but they're all the inferior option in the price range.
And currently AMD doesn't have anything to take on the fastest single GPU on the planet, the NVidia GeForce GTX 1080, so in the high-end market NVidia is literally the only option right now.
I can't believe you Novidiots actually buy into 800 dollar cards that offer 20-25% increase over previous gen. The 1070 has the worst core count compared to previous generations and you retards buy into it. Every fucking time. AMD will be releasing the rx 480 which is not meant as a competitor for the gtx 1080 but instead to give cheap vr. It offers the performance of a 980 for half the price. And two of them beats a 1080 for LESS cost. And overclocked they would beat the 1080s ass. You guys are truly retarded
>wanting to deal with lolnodrivers and shit crossfire optimization
No thanks, I'll stick with a competent GPU manufacturer.
The fury line was a turd though, they should have cut prices at least 30% then the card might have been good, as it stands now you're much better off getting a 980ti or 1070 for that money
Fury X is cheaper than the 980ti and ties it or is faster across a multitude of games , Fury is cheaper than the 980 and a lot faster across a multitude of games, the r9 295X2 released years ago is almost as fast as the 1080 at high res
Because for some people 980 performance is not enough
Maxing out stuff at 1440p for example is not something you can do in many new games with a 980
>fury line was a turd
really?
>Fury X is cheaper than the 980ti and ties it or is faster across a multitude of games
Ashes of the singularity is not 'a multitude of games'
>4k with a fury x
Kek you completely missed the point like a typical novidiot. AMD drivers are getting better. And besides in the cases where they are bad, I look at amd drivers like fine wine, It takes time for them to get better. You wouldn't drink a freshly squeezed bottle wine would you? Then you wouldn't buy an amd card from day one and expect perfect drivers. Instead You must wait for them to be refined and mastered so they can be more fine tuned. And besides with DX12 nvidia is going to find itself in trouble with their lack of async and bad DX12 support.
the chart shown is the average from all the cards reviewed across 'a multiutude of games'
Then why can NVidia bring out drivers that work perfectly fine on launch day?
Then wait for vega instead of paying a massive premium with your impulses causing you to buy whatever is available at the time because nvidia likes to release their new cards at premium prices.
>then wait for vega
What makes you think Vega will be cheap? kek
The fury line started at 600-700 euro too
So is this
anandtech.com
Keep in mind this is not oc'd, and we know the fury x can't oc for shit while the 980ti was fantastic at overclocking
Really? Have you poor memory? Have the many shitty nvidia releases because bad drivers. Have we forgot about the 364.xx driver issues?
I never said it would be cheap. But with its it would cause and force down nvidia prices. Since competition
AMD's drivers have been fine since dropping their VLIW architectures
Maybe if Nvidia innovated with new architectures their drivers wouldn't kill cards every year.
>implying AMD can compete in the true high-end segment
Fury was an overpriced failure. What makes you think Vega will be any different?
By that logic you can always wait for the next product
The core count arguments was like the old CPU core count and GHz arguments.
It doesn't matter nigger.
Optimization, efficiency, and actual performance does.
I actually like AMD for its 480, im buying it.
But come on now man, don't let novidiots trigger you.
I hope Fury 2 includes the water cooler
I know the first one only had it to prevent a housefire but getting something Nvidiote need to pay $100-$200 extra for is nice
Perf for watt, Leaked specs. And speculated pricings
