Budget PC

I want to build a great pc for under 700 bucks. I play league of legends and a bunch of valve games as well as a few other old games. I dont play the current gen triple A titles, but I want to make a pc that could do that If i wanted to in the next year or two. I there anything wrong with this build?

I chose a 2GB videocard because I'm not going past 1080p.

Wait for Polaris

I forgot to add the SSD for my os. Heres the updated screenshot

Say i replace the 380 w a 480 which is the same price. Would this make this build good for what i described?

>I chose a 2GB videocard because I'm not going past 1080p.
Even 1080p needs 4GB now bruh. Go for as much as you can get VRAM wise, you'll thank yourself for it. Maybe drop to an 8350 for some extra cash for the GPU.

>AMD CPU
Not even once, just get the i5 6500 and put your savings towards a proper indoor hearing system

Every Amd cpu ive used was resilient af and worked great for me. I also dont care about a little bit of backround noise i actually enjoy noise. And as far as heat is concerned, I'm not doing anything insanely intensive as far as games are concerned and im putting my trust in the new wraith cooler to help me out.

Yes, higher and more reliable framerate is great for E-sports and many steam games.

The 470 will also come out soon and may be better for your budget

I've been actively trying to kill a pair of 256GB 1311's for the last few months with random read/write cycles. They're not the fastest SSD I've ever owned, but they do well thus far.

As others have said, I'd wait for Polaris. If you don't need / want the ODD in this build, that gets you down to about $750.

Or you can go out and buy an Alienware Alpha R2. Unless you need / want multiple monitors. Then you have to buy USB video adapters as well.

Change the 380 to the RX 480 8GB.
Drop the FX 8370 to either an i5 (6500 if you won't OC) or wait for AMD's Zen CPU (they will take quite a long time to release though).

OP's build is ridiculously dumb for gaming. AMD CPUs don't do well in thread limited applications.

Also, if you're getting a GPU in the $200 range, just wait for the RX 480. Reference cards are still going to beat the shit out of any R9 380 or GTX 960 cards.

Focus on price to performance, and for sub $700 you can get this:

I'd stay away from the 7K2000. Not because they're bad drives, but because they're not new anymore. Every one you see is going to be a pull or old stock.

>Not waiting 2 weeks for next gen to release

I'd call you stupid but I don't think it'd get to you.

Pretty retarded build. Get a 6500. 23% better
Don't be a nigger, get a 4gb card. 120gb will be way to small one you figure out how nice flash storage is.

Honestly, I have an a10-5800k with a gtx-950 and I can play some pretty intensive games ie: witcher 3, arma 3. You will be fine, honestly wait for the rx-480 8gig for $230. I have a 120gig Samsung evo and a WD black 2tb and it works fine for me.

wait for polaris

get i5-6500 instead, AMD cpus are garbage

this

it also enables you to get some nice ddr 4 ram

Get an apu you dunce

Literally no reason to get a WD Black unless you want to see slightly higher numbers when you benchmark it. Real world performance there's no difference, they're both 7200 RPM HDDs, not much can be changed.
