Right click on the file, go to permissions, check on "execute"

Or

Open a terminal there
chmod +x Unteralterbach.sh
sudo ./Unteralterbach.sh

i already done that. i get permission denied even with sudo command.

try pastebinning the sh file so we can see it. you probably need to run it as root though, but be careful what youre running. always check scripts to see if theyre malicious

Is that file in a removable media? If so, copy this over to your computer.

Do this
$sudo su
$chmod +x Unteralterbach.sh
$./Unteralterbach.sh

>unteralterbach
>german for underagestream
FBI incoming

still, same permission denied error

>$ sudo su
Y U do dis ? Is that an oldfaggy way to say $sudo -s ?

kys kid

what seems to be the problem? It just werks

I thought sudo is a replacement for old su, this combination seems strange and redundant.

no it's not
sudo grants elevated privileges for a single time, sudo su changes your user to root until you exit

sh file.sh

Perm denied for what? From exec or chmodding ?
Also, post "ls -l Unteralterbach.sh", let us see them permissions

sudo -s = su
sudo -i = su -

Still don't understand the point of sudo su

>whenever i try ./Unteralterbach.sh, i get a permission denied error. same with sudo command.

Jörg bitte. Jemand der mal in der Piratenpartei war sollte sowas eigentlich iwssen

-rwxrwxrwx 1 jason jason 1547 Haz 25 12:25 Unteralterbach.sh

that was the answer

Well seems like a matter of preference if you use sudo -s or sudo su

give that file back to jason, john

Try replacing /bin/sh with /bin/bash in the first line of the script

doesnt look like a bash script to me

Use chown, the file belongs to 'jason'

it is, check the pastebin

You don't install the game you just run the script. It worked on my machine (tm).

still same permission denied error

i am jason

its 777 everyone can run it

thats bourne shell syntax

hi jason, pleasure to meet you

my name's jamal

Are you implying that bash can't run that? wat

Copy the whole file over to your /home
Go sudo su and ./Unteralterbach.sh. Post results

im saying that its not necessary to run it with bash, since sh will do it

this probably wouldnt suffice since it appears to call a python script as well

Ask your mom for permission.

Also OP not posting pics, nice falling for the bait

Learn to Linux OP

who cares?

i don't know how to take screenshot under lubuntu

Have you got the file working?

install scrot
type scrot in terminal

Meanwhile on Windows...

>double click on Unteralterbach.bat
>it works

nice bait

It's called security features, faggot. No wonder windows is vulnerable to millions of unseen rootkits

>oldfaggy
Jeez, are you literally 16 and just installed Linux yesterday?
Because nobody would actually be this clueless of what he's saying, otherwise...

Also, both have the same number of characters so fuck off

fuck off with your underage lolli shit mate

Meanwhile on Windows...

>UAC prompt asks me if it should grant admin permissions to the script
>click yes or no

I'd say that's a more elegant while equally capable solution.

Yeah, those snippets on google take care of that UAC meme

So you Linux faggots are getting baited while this shell script is just written to print permission denied...

Well he hasn't responded to this yet and the post count is getting bigger

Sounds easy.

Nele is best girl

And the result is this

nope, still permission denied

Holy shit

This would be hilarious

i did that, lubuntu doesn't allow me to copy the file there

funny maymay lads
just read the script yourselves

nobody cares about your hobby os. why someone would spend time to find vulnerabilities.

people who think linux is a "hobby OS" are usually gaming babbys and don't belong on Sup Forums.

How about he copy paste that shit himself into a shell or something?

>Running out of arguments like this

Fuck back to your daycare thread winchild

>lubuntu doesn't allow me to copy the file to /home
Post output

go to your settings,
better yet understand that ricing is not a point and click adventure.

microsoft code signing certificates are leaked, stolen, or successfully forged all the time. look it up. it's big business to acquire them babies.
