and inb4 roofers dont make that much, I work a lot of overtime, get tons of out of town work where I get paid more+hazard pay (working on nuclear reactors and such) and I work for a company thats an industry leader and pays better than like 95% of other companies. I doubt I'll make a career out of this, but I could if I wanted to

You can't have one of these threads without posting what kind of town you're in. It's a small city and I was very lucky to get this job. The property taxes and living costs are very low. Also I'm a complete pussy which is not defensible except when it comes to insurance, house and car are next to nothing, hilariously people tell me "hurr hurr u gotta live once in a while user" when defending their shitty police stories. They're paying $100+ a month on a shitbox and I'm paying $50 for a sports car. Hard as fuck to find anything above helpdesk here but once you do, it's comfy. Get about $3800 a month and all bills are paid with only $800.

You're an 18 year old student, you shouldn't be worried about a salary.

Focus on actually graduating.

Salary is negative, friendo

I realize that.

You're still in education though, you shouldn't be worried about how much you're making. That 15 grand/yr is an investment into your future.
