Go back to Sup Forums you clearly belong there you gaymen fag

What are you trying to play, and do you care about resolution?

Does it have to look good or function good?

Do you have peripherals like a keyboard/mouse/monitor or no?

I'd rather it functioned good rather then looked good, Game like Skyrim. Witcher 3, Fallout 4. Yes i do care about resolution, I wasnt it to look stunning. so graphics must be good.

Grow up manchild

500-800 pounds?

So isn't that like 50 dollars now?

pcpartpicker.com/list/8YwgLD

This is what I'm building (Replace the GPU with the RX 480 when it comes out)

Same fag

About 55 haha

889 USD or something like 650 pounds, probably closer to 800 pounds with the wonderful import taxes out that way

pcpartpicker.com/list/d9FsJV

this is probably about the best i can do to still get good performance at high res on those games, skyrim is nothing, modded maybe but stock skyrim at 1440p would be nothing to this machine
witcher 3 might be harder on it, its very cpu intensive, and fallout 4 is horribly optimized and will honestly run like crap on just about anything at high res

There are a billion resources out there to do this exact thing for you, just google it like everyone else

Any reason theres two video cards? or am i just dumb

K processor on a H110 board?

oh, that was a double click mistake, my bad
along with the fact that you probably wouldnt need two, the psu probably couldnt do two

haha dropped it from 800 to 600 haha

Sorry, is there a problem with that?

Just built this for ~650 USD

pcpartpicker.com/list/L3yXLD

Waiting on the 480 to either replace or price drop the gpu though.

And you could probably live with an i3 honestly. Games are not very cpu heavy these days as compared to gpu usage. I only got the big boy cause I play dwarf fortress and toady can't into optimization.

cant overclock on h110
K processors are for overclocking

>i3-6100
>RX 480
>2x8 GiB RAM
>H110 board
>SSD with as much storage as you need
>Cheap case
>Decent ~400W PSU
>Pirate Windows 7

Oh, I know K processors are for overclocking, I just didn't know the H110 couldn't overclock, thanks btw

What motherboard would you recommend instead?

Well you either step down the processor for a non-K chip and keep the motherboard.
Or you step up to a Z170 motherboard and overclock the CPU.

I'm still leaning more towards though.

Now get out Sup Forumsermin.

what is better AMD or Intel?

>choosemypc
>max price
>recommends 2133mhz DDR4 for a 5930k
wew

What?

stop shitposting

I prefer AMD GPUs over Nvidea becuase poorfag, but I'd choose Intel CPUs over AMD's.

I7 5930k supports 2133mhz

What?

Here's a 4 core getting choked with 2133 memory. Unless you only use it for gaming, it will drag the system performance down and a 6 core quad channel x99 based 5930k is not money well spent for a gaming cpu.

I edited your original build and made into a qt3.14 mini itx one, OP: pcpartpicker.com/list/VQ4M8K

As someone who used to have these gianormous cases whose space was always wasted in fucking nothing, I strongly advise you to go itx. This case is small as fuck and it's outstanding because you can fit big air cooler in it without a problem.

Overclocking your CPU won't be worth it so I removed the K cpu. You had the wrong mobo anyway.

air coolers*

Also, switched the PSU around for a semi-modular one so the insides will be easier to manage and more organized.

That's literally just a memory bandwidth test. It says nothing about system performance.

Read the fucking sticky

Currently looking at building this for myself:

pcpartpicker.com/list/cmMVYr

Already have the GPU and SSD, and the case/PSU will be Fractal Design Node 202 w/450W. Won't be top of the line, but will certainly play what I want, and be smaller and prettier than my current toaster.

It says that any memory intensive tasks and that will be the weak link in the chain

Logical increments. Google it and fuck off Sup Forumsirgin

That CPU is completely wasted with that GPU.

Drop down to an i5. An i7 will do literally nothing for you gaming wise. In fact, hyperthreading may even slow down performance on some poorly optimized titles. Honestly, even an i5 will be completely overkill for this setup and you'd do perfectly fine with an i3 6100. That's also a terrible HDD you have in there, it's expensive, loud and only sata 2. Swap the cooler around for one of those low profile Noctua ones because that case is pretty crappy when it comes to airflow and you wanna cut down on the noise as much as you can. That motherboard is completely overkill as well and that SSD brand is not very good. Overall, it's a pretty nonsensical build m8.

This pcpartpicker.com/list/cc9ccc is way cheaper and you'll get the same performance. Upgrade to an i5 if you want, but you'll feel absolutely no difference whatsoever with that GPU.

Go back to Sup Forums faggot.

>

Actually, on second thought, you can keep that gemini cooler in since there will be no overclocking and whatnot so the noctua will be a waste of money.

I built that with the thought of upgrading the GPU down the road. Last I checked the HDD was SATA3, may have just clicked on the wrong one. But yes the SSD is old. Considering ditching them both for just a 500. It's been quite some time since I built my own from the bottom up.

Regardless, the advice is appreciated.

>I built that with the thought of upgrading the GPU down the road

Yeah but even with that, an i7 for gaming and stuff is just throwing money away. CPU requirements for games are actually going down, not up. Your plan is sound. In this case, gor for an i5.

>Considering ditching them both for just a 500

Do this if you're considering filling your drives with games and stuff. If you're thinking about creating a media/gaming center hybrid and wanna store stuff such as movies and series as well, I'd keep the regular HDD in. A system with only SSDs would be slightly quieter as well, so if you're a sound freak you might enjoy that.

>750 Ti
>6700k
>H170 with an unlocked CPU
>120 GB SSD
>Gaymen machine
This is bait, right ?
Tell me this is bait.

This as bad?

ebin

I'm down with a high-end i5. It'll be the trade-off to get a good SSD. I can ditch HDDs because the old desktop will be relegated to a NAS, replacing the laptop that currently holds that role. It'll teach me much better network management. And yes, I admire a quiet computer, but I prefer small size more.

>I can ditch HDDs because the old desktop will be relegated to a NAS

Excellent. That's also what I'd do.

>And yes, I admire a quiet computer, but I prefer small size more.

Those are not mutually exclusive actually, after all, SSDs are smaller and, of course, completely silent. I'm also a huge fan of itx computers. Shit's neat.

Adjusted the build accordingly. Still coming out to about the same price, humorously enough. But that's going for the 500GB instead of 250. Still looking forward to it. That feel of a new PC and a new house, mang.

That's great, just don't forget to install Windows 10 when you're all set up!

That's a shitty fucking build for that price.

>What?
What?

It is much better. But you're like 3 days away from RX 480.

Okay, here's what you build.

pcpartpicker.com/list/PV3wVY

i5-6500 because who overclocks these days anyways
B150M MORTAR because good audio, 4 ram slots and potential crossfire (lel)
2x4gb ram nuff said
SSD - cheapest one that's good quality (if you want better speeds upgrade to Crucial MX, Samsung or sth M.2)
Graphics card is obviously going to be RX 480
God tier case (just not good looking)
God tier PSU

That's $500. You can spend the rest on Windows, HDD, or whetever the fuck you want (if you want optical drive, upgrade the case to Fractal Design Define R5). Or if you want to overclock after all, go for i5-6600K, Z170-A mobo, Cryorig H7 cooler and some tad faster ram (2666 MHz is where the gains in video games stop at).

Kill yourself, you funless faggot

What?
