FreeBSD

When I'm compiling ports on FreeBSD the process gets interrupted with these ncurses gui prompts (pic related). Sometimes compilation takes hours and should be done unattended. Is there a way to avoid these prompts, maybe some flag to accept the defaults?

just type BATCH=YES before the make install command.

I think make config-recursive can also allow you to do all this before actually installing.

>anti BSDfag THIS uninformed
gee im not surprised

You have to either disable any options or run config-recursive a dozen times. BSD strong. My favorite part is how freebsdtards constantly shit on portage despite it being lightyears ahead in every department.

Stop acting like you know what you're talking about. Proves that you don't.

t. freebsdcuck.

Aren't you a freebsdcuck? What happened to "FreeBSD is more secure!"
