What the fuck Steam!? Does anybody know how to fix this? I'm tried playing Bl2 but it keeps on crashing whenever I pick a character to play. I was hoping this board could help me.

Go to gnu.org and click "Try GNU/Linux", then you select an appropriate distribution of the GNU operating system with the Linux kernel added for your personal taste, put it onto a CD or bootable USB, boot onto said storage device and follow the appropriate instruction to install before mentioned operating system.

First of all, it's not Steam's fault. Don't blame everything on Steam when it's an engine issue.
Judging from the logs (pretty impressed their log reports are this detailed desu) it can't find a required file for something related to sound. Try verifying the game files in steam (right click on the game in steam -> properties -> verify game integrity or something like that).
If googling the logs doesn't give you the results just reinstall the game.
