But oven steak can be awesome. a big old ribeye (dry brined w/Salt night before) in the oven with a nice dry rub at around 250F for about 45 minutes a pound will come out perfect medium rare

you dont realize that using an oven or a reverse broil turns out amazing steaks. oven is just another completely legitimate way to cook meat. not just for your tater tots and mommies cinna buns
