2560x1440 is a constitutional human right in the year 2016.

also, great meme, where did you find it? x))

Gsync isn't worth it. Either go for 2560×1440 or go for a 1920×1080 with 120+ hz

I took a time machine back to old Sup Forums ;)

I want to buy 27" 1920x1080. Tell me why not.

1440/1600 vert for sure. Don't let the gayman Sup Forums idiots convince you otherwise.

Oh, it also has *VA matrix and FreeSync. I'm sure I will be the edgiest kid, desu.

I have a 1080p 27" Dell and I like it a lot. Never used a 1440p monitor so I can't compare it to that but I'm happy so far.

Im considering buying this 1440p 144hz monitor with Gsync for $500. I want to make use of the gtx 1070 I bought.

Do you guys think its too much?

But is a TN senpai, don't you care about colour accuracy at all?

That was another thing that was on my mind. Is it a big deal for playing vidya/ watching movies.

Im not making video or picture editing

Not really no. I play vidya on a TN and it's not nearly as bad as people say.

assuming you are a gaymer, focus on 144hz

Are there any 4k G-SYNC 144hz+ IPS monitors with a fast response time and as little IPS glow/backlight bleeding as possible?

whatever you buy just make sure you're not buying glossy garbage.

Ok Ive got two Gsync Monitors picked out.
One is TN the other is IPS
IPS is $100 more

What do?

4k 144hz does not exist to my knowledge. Best you can go up to is 60hz I believe.

Reply fuck-up
Meant to reply to

Whoops, didn't notice that. How come other sites state the same model is than?

The review explains it

Haha alright, was going through sites too fast didn't notice right away. Pretty stupid.

Seems now that the cheapest new 1440p IPS monitor is about $700. I did find a "like New"
ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q for under $600 though.

With G-sync**

lol I got a TN Free-sync 1440p 144hz 27 in with no bezel for $308. G-sync is "better" but not really worth the big premium. TN vs IPS isn't that big of a deal either.
