can you guys just let me know if my choice of tv is decent, just want something on my desk for ps4 and wii u...
>not getting the joke
>pretending to be retarded
With the quality of posters lately Its hard to tell.
HELLO!?
if you have to have a tv get sony since they have the lowest input lag.
otherwise just buy a monitor with hdmi
note i have a sony 60 inch tv from 2015
I don't know much about PCs. I just have a laptop.
Why would getting a computer monitor be a better choice?
There are too many options!
They are typically cheaper than tvs, but the biggest reason is extremely low input latency.
but if thats not a concern your choice should be on picture quality and where you want to sit, since a monitor requires you to sit up close typically at a desk
As somebody who took a laptop and HDMI cable into a retail store in order to fnd a 4K with low input lag:
There are none. No 4K TVs on the market as of 2 months ago are acceptable for gaming.
Now having said that, half the 1080p TVs i tried were also shit. The only ones that were any good were the Sony, which is what i bought.
55" 1080p @ 60hz.
Looks ugly unless you're sitting back a bit, but at least moving the mouse on it doesn't make me throw up
OP here. thanks for the help so far guys. im going to not look at tvs anymore for my console gaming.
I play on a desk and i think i am going to get a monitor instead.
Just my budget is around $300 and there are a lot of options out there.
going to bed now. Please recommend me some monitors please!
>Sony
>Lowest input lag
The fuck you talkin bout user? That would be samsung and vizio, both brands have sub 20ms models, 1080p, 2160p, all the way up to 75"
No, they don't.
>Vizio P series 18ms 2160p 50, 55, 60, 65, 70"
>Samsung JU7500, 8500, 2160p 18ms
Do you just talk out your ass, user? Pretty much anyone who belongs on a tech board at least knows how to google. Now fuck off and stop shilling an inferior brand. Sony is ass. If you're going to spend money get a samsung, if not get a vizio. Vizio is the best for gaming anyways.
I don't give a fuck what your useless google bullshit says, i have personally tried both the JU7500 and 8500 at 4K and they both have at least 100ms of input lag
>too dumb to set his tv up correctly
>posts on Sup Forums
Get out.
My TV is setup fine.
It has no input lag, unlike those shitheap samsungs.
Lol this kid. Sony doesn't have a single high end model with sub 30ms input delay. Vizio P and M series are hands down the best gaming TVs on the market for response times, refresh rates, input delay and the fact they actually support 4:4:4 chroma correctly.
Sony... Is literal bottom tier nip trash. Everybody knows it, you will not find anyone on this board stupid enough to buy a sony TV to use for anything but watching TV if they're looking at high end models. Some of their older 1080ps were good but holy shit get with the times.
P-Series master race reporting in.
2160p/60hz 1080p/120hz 65" for $1100. Seriously cannot beat it, my only gripe is the remote sucks. It's just as responsive as my desktop monitors and trust me I can tell when I'm playing shit like project diva and my 2whos on hardest difficulties.
Don't get samsung, it's just more money for less quality as neither samshit or sony have the ability to do 1080p/120hz correctly and sony is known to drop signal at 2160p if you're using Nvidia SLI. If you're just a console shitter, it doesn't matter your controller has more latency than any high end TV anyways
