After the vote we decided to close the recruitment threads for the next 6 months, at the least. We allowed the community to vote as we have noticed an increase in collectors; users who just hoard trackers with no intention of using them. This has nothing to do with us trying to be an elite, top tier tracker. It is simply to reduce the influx of users who do not contribute to the community. Your invites will be still available as long as you meet the requirements. I would like to take this time to remind you that a pruning of accounts will follow shortly, so those who have not logged in for more than two months will have their accounts disabled.

In the account usage chart it shows that I added mysteriously 1TB in a matter of minutes ( I was in the process of removing all my shit from my seedbox too) so from one day to the next I went from 2000GB to 3000GB. of course instead of trying to inquire on the error of what the fuck happened, they delete a >TB from my torrents uploaded directory and a folder called "last seeders" aka my primary upload folder and my folder containing large torrents I was the only seeder on or only one with a seed box seeding. ie the two worst.
After they deleted that TB I'm left with 1TB or half my shit. >why? How does 2+1-1=1? Because I never added the "third" TB they added a TB of something to my slot, deleted it, then proceeded to delete half my shit I messaged them via invoice and mike or dan was a dick.
long story short, if you have access to faster internet than you're paying for, get it over a seedbox any day. Only use a seedbox for uploading shit, as in thee uploader. Just seed locally. It's better that way and a hell of a lot safer >tfw I had to change 12 passkeys and fix 3k torrents because I don't trust feral

If that's the case, I get it: you're a ratiocuck. You autosnatch a ton of what you perceive will be hot torrents. You make a decent to a ton of buffer and, notably, you seed for a week or 'til you need [to make] more room. That's logical for a month or two. The pay off is definitely worth the $40-60 you paid for 2 months. Decent ratiocuckage
However, if you're not just trying to pump and dump, or if you have a shitty isp, you shouldn't be wasting money like that. When not only long term seeding but downloading videos directly to where you plan to play it is just so much faster (generally) and much more convenient, cheaper and hasale free than living by your box.

Hello. I'm only starting to get into private trackers, and I have a question. Let's pretend that I have downloaded an untouched blu-ray of a film from an open tracker like TPB. Now let's pretend I join a private tracker and I have to improve my ratio. What if this private tracker has that same untouched blu-ray of that same film with that same size, so it is literally the same file. What if I download torrent file, but link it to the existing folder. The file will then go on re-check and will start seeding without downloading anything. So I will be able to start seeding instantly what I already have, without downloading anything. My question is if it is allowed and will not result in a ban.

Yea you have described cross-seeding. It is allowed on most trackers. Look for scene releases with the same name at the end of a file, same folder structure (you can check before you download) and same file sizes (some might be the same but show different because one site might use GiB vs GB). Avoid rared files, hard to avoid when going after scene releases though.
