What the fuck is wrong with you?

I hate having a desktop. I actually feel I get a better gaming experience with a laptop. Plus I want to take it to subway.

Laptops can be PC's though

It's a shitty budget laptop with too much ram and integrated graphics and no SSD.

It's OK to use the abbreviation “PC” to refer to a certain kind of computer hardware, but please don't use it with the implication that the computer is running Microsoft Windows. If you install GNU/Linux on the same computer, it is still a PC.

The term “WC” has been suggested for a computer running Windows.

For a gaming laptop following things are shit tier:
>iX-XXXXU underclocked processor
>5400RPM slow as fuck HDD and no SSD
>DVD-RW literally why
>768p screen not even 13"
>Integrated graphics okay at this point I realised this is bait so i wont continue but I typed so much to just discard this

I meant Desktop.

You aint playing any games with that 300$ laptop sonny

I'm trying to build a pc for the first time and i was wondering if you Sup Forumsuys could help me out
I'm having trouble choosing the motherboard

EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B1 80+ BRONZE, 750W Semi Modular $64.99

ASUS ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97-A/USB 3.1 $129.99

Samsung 850 EVO - 500GB - 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD $154.84

Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 2400MHz PC3 19200 Desktop RAM $62.99

Cooler Master N200 - Mini Tower Computer Case $41.00

Intel Boxed Core I5-6500 $199.99

Don't ask Sup Forums for help.

Why are you paying 290$ for a 3,5gb card when you can wait a week and get a newer 8gb one cheaper?

im sorry to have wasted your time and bothered you :(

Any CPU that has "U" on the end is bad for gaming because it means ultra low voltage.

That i7 is slower than a desktop i3. It's a laptop for student/light use/battery life.

Go get your own board you jew

oh snap really?
sorry i dont know much about these things.
which is it? so i could be aware of it

It's absolutely terrible you will barely be able to play any decent game.

Integrated graphics means that it has no dedicated graphics cards which results in probably the weakest game performance you can get.
I'd say this laptop is a scam, atleast if you are looking to play games on it.

Also get atleast a 1080p display especially at that displays size.
Else everything you do will look pretty bad.

It's a socket 1150 motherboard with a socket 1151 CPU, you cannot build with these parts.

Whats a decent laptop sub $700? Pic related is my current one.

Why even worry about the processor when it's running on integrated graphics? You guys get your priorities wrong.

(You) can get a better desktop for that much.

i appreciate the new term, i will try my best to remember it and use it

well, your 'feel' is wrong... and please don't game while in subway, that is just pathetic.

Lol I don't game in public, only in the privacy of my home. I was saying I want to be able to take it places. I'm a student,

alright, thanks for the site

I don't really know about gaming laptops in that price range.
It will be quite hard to play games with a decent quality.

But you should make sure it has something like an Nvidia 940M/960M/970M (higher number means better) or an AMD equivalent in its description else the chances are that it doesn't have a dedicated gpu.
Secondly no more then 8gb of ram because you won't need more and a decent screen with 1080p resolution.
Also an i5 should be enough.

Nigga what the fuck are you doing?

You could, but you wouldn't be able to run newer games like Witcher 3, Doom, GTAV etc.
Besides, and do your research on Can You Run It
