CD/DVD burner

I've been using Nero 7 since always. A while back I tried to upgrade to a newer version but did not like it.
Should I get something better? What do you use as burning software?
Is it really worth having a special program instead of using the windows tool?

imgburn

CDBurner XP or K3B for Linux

>not using DVD Decrypter

i like imgburn

Holy shit the feels. Thanks for the post. Also Nero 7 is the best one so far. All the later versions are bloated junks. But then if you are using Windows 7 or higher, then the inbuilt one is enough.

I miss the days when i used to get excited from the sound of cd checking and burning.

imgburn + daemon tools lite or alcohol 50%

Nero 10 is literal bloatware, a pain in the ass to uninstall and remove all these registry keys

Dat interface

Who the hell still uses DVD drives?

I use Nero 9. Pretty much the same as Nero 7 but a different startsmart layout

cdrtfe

is this 2006?

Can't remember when was the last time I burned a cd/dvd at all.
I remember that I used UltraISO to do it though.

cdburnerxp is shit and thanks to debian faggots so is k3b

>cdburnerxp is shit
why

Fuck man. My dad used Nero 7 until like, last month when he had to buy a new skylake build.

He suffers from baby duck syndrome to the next level so it's hard for him to get away from that. Does it even work on W10? I know it's fucked with aero.

>burn fail
>cd kaput
>not shit
happend multiple times with different versions on different pcs

if you want a libre burner that works on windows use cdrtools front end

if you want k3b and brasero to not shit your disks replace cdrkit with cdrtools

I used Nero7 for the longest time too but it stopped working properly on Win7 I think

got my mom to switch to CDBurnerXP because she still burns CDs occasionally

that sucks, man. baby dicks are genetic, so if you didn't get it, your son probably will

win7/8 burn dvds
win 8 opens iso

bundleware

user infrarecorder (they are both outdated but one is open source)

>Should I get something better?
Yes, you should. Install Gentoo.

I'm expecting Bonzibuddy to show up in OP's pic any minute now
