placebo

Not sleep better, but I have less eye strain now

Yes. It absolutely does. I actually feel sorry for people who does not know these.

I like redshift at night. Makes it less strainful on my eyes. Not sure about sleeping better though.

>shitpost until 3 AM
>expecting to fall asleep in a minute
WAAHH WHY CAN'T I SLEEP

You literally have control over your sleeping habits. Stop staying up all night like an autist. You need a steady schedule and need to give time to yourself before expecting to fall asleep. Read a book or something before bed.

>Read a book
fucking idiot tier

just jerk off before you go to bed
and I don't mean like 1 min
make it cozy and power yourself out 10+ min
it's healthy too

redshift is designed to reduce eye strain and help with insomnia. You don't control your sleeping habits with insomnia.

objectively yes

your screen is only 1 light source

it wasn't until i got LED bulbs i could set to yellow that i really saw the benefit

No, just going to sleep at noon now.

No, but it make your eyes hurt less while you shitposting all night long.

Yes.

Twilight for Android doesn't however, it just puts some crappy red layer over you're screen, it doesn't actually reduce the blues in your screen.

This is the only reason I use it. Whoever started the sleep better meme should kill themselves.

You guys know eye strain is caused by muscle strain and not seeing blue light right?

It doesn't promote sleep, it certainly eases the eyes

Don't believe it? Have you ever tried disabling f.lux at midnight or after, thinking it wasn't doing anything?
Your eyes will catch on fire.

could someone shop the kid out?

Sudden jumps in luminosity are painful because your iris hasn't adjusted, it has nothing to do with eye strain.

Never noticed it help me sleep better. But it definitely helps my eyes from being stained from staring at a bright ass monitor for 18 hours a day...

>shopping for children online
Reported.

It also reduces all kinds of csncer to minimal levels.

blue light actually keeps you awake. scientificamerican.com/article/q-a-why-is-blue-light-before-bedtime-bad-for-sleep/

glasses that filter it would probably be more efficient, though

/Thread.

Is that her son?

Well blue light kinda slows melatonin production therefore helping you sleep

I jerk off to VR porn sometimes before sleeping. I sleep like a baby after I'm done.

Funny thing is that my eyes receive full-spectrum light during the session

Flux has a bunch of research cited on their site that you can look into.

As an anecdote, I have used Flux (and Twilight on Android) for over a year, and I think it does trigger your brain that it's nearing bedtime similarly to a sunset. Although it could be placebo like says.

Mostly I use it because I stare at screens too long and it definitely helps with eye strain.

Also this study (and I think many others) found that exposure to light suppresses melatonin (a hormone that helps you sleep). So if you want to sleep better, you should probably just avoid screens for awhile before sleeping.

I want to bust on her legs.

>milky white skin
>puffy vulva
lads, tell me how to acquire this gf before I kill myself

Just don't be yourself

it's difficult to not act autistic

Hi pissphone

3AM isn't staying up late though.

Get in line buddy, I have a leg up on you.

>tfw you're old enough to realize that you're far too old to do some things that would have been acceptable at a younger age

The negative effects of blue light on sleep patterns are a well documented scientific fact.

It's snake oil.

The real problem is that the LED backlights on monitors are rich in blue. This color temperature is set at the time of manufacture, and can't be adjusted with software.

Sleeping helps me sleep better. Everything else besides actually sleeping is just placebo

>Youth is wasted on the young

Move to China or Korea where that woman is

I find wiping my sweaty nutsack and asscrack with a hot facewasher before getting in my pj's helps me get comfy for bed

No, getting up early in the morning helps me to sleep better.
However, flux is definitely more friendly on the eyes when the surrounding gets darker.
Just install it and then turn it off around 10pm and you will know what I was talking about.

You can't
A girl like her won't ever give you the time of day, unless she's paid to

I think it's pretty BS cuz I always notice flux (I use the hour shift and notice it every time...) and actually it bothers me being so red.

I use 0% brightness (no backlight) so that might have something to do with it.

Nope, makes me sleep even later thanks to it being easier on my eyes. Perfect for those late night shitposting sessions.

>1 min
>10 min

Fucking casuals. Anything under 30 minutes is rushing it.

Whats it like to be a neet with no future?

No. My plushy and paci do.

>friend does stressful business shit to late hours
>falls asleep before you've even noticed he's lied down
>in a lit room while people are watching TV
blows my mind every time, it's like he can switch himself off or something
