Hint: something for /hsg/
Guess The Box
it's a newegg box
Dragon dildo
Another fucking box.
I still doubt people will get it
i did get it you asshat, it's a newegg box
now what's in it
an amp or something
nope
no idea then, that shit's too blurry to make anything out
it almost looks metal
hdd's?
it was intentionally shitty, my first photo was clear
DING DING DING
the hell will you do with 8 of them
>seagate
Better put that box back in the trash where it belongs.
8 of them, each 4TB
i have filled my 6TB raid in my destop
i am building a new and bigger one
stop downloading so much anime then
201 shows and still going strong
Seems like a lot of money to spend just to save a bunch of porn and anime you'll probably never watch again.
actually i have been on a rewatching binge lately. 6th show so far (ranma 1/2) on this escapade
>Seagate
Just delete everything right now save yourself the trouble.
Time to put them in their trays
whoops, pic here
Got them mounted now
time to get my 24 TB raid setup
post what it looks like when it's all done im interested.
well, damn, i am having trouble getting the drives to fit, the screws are hitting some metal in the case and wont go in. Might take me a few minutes to get it fixed
all good ill be here
i am having to rip thiese plastic peices off to get the clearence
that's no good
well i didn't know what screws to get
guess i did it wrong
flat top screws like amazon.com
>Seagate
Better return that shit
still dont get the problem
my old raid is still working very well, and they are seagate drives
i have only had a single seagate drive with issues, where some chunks in the middle of the disk are unusable, possibly a head crash
don't let them meme you, seagate has some of the better NAS drives, but it does depend on what model you get.
Last update for now
I need to get back to work now
I have 3 drives left to get the plastic off, but they seem to be (barely) fitting now
that has been my experience
i am trying out desktop HDDs now since they are cheaper
i dont work them hard so i think it will be fine
> Seagate
Copy your data and smash the drive, so you don't have to wait for them to die
