I'm glad that people that got to actually make something in their lives had a healthy sense of humour.

Do they have a logo yet?

## At the get-together of the AGC developers celebrating the 40th anniversary
## of the first moonwalk, Don Eyles (one of the authors of this routine along
## with Peter Adler) has related to us a little interesting history behind the
## naming of the routine.

##

## It traces back to 1965 and the Los Angeles riots, and was inspired
## by disc jockey extraordinaire and radio station owner Magnificent Montague.
## Magnificent Montague used the phrase "Burn, baby! BURN!" when spinning the
## hottest new records. Magnificent Montague was the charismatic voice of
## soul music in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles from the mid-1950s to
## the mid-1960s.

t. not doing anything of real significance aside from making websites for hipster "tech news"

Where have you been?

Always.

how do you compile this?

You run it directly on a Comanche055 and Luminary099

1969: ancient software running on mere calculators lands Man on the Moon
2016: Sup Forums can't average 3 ints in C despite having quad-core Intel i7 with RadeonForce 1080p 8 GB and 6000 GHz

lul

holy fuck

I never manipulated .s files by hand, I always wrote .c and let the compiler do the job.

Where can I learn to directly write .s ?

github.com/chrislgarry/Apollo-11/issues/8

...

The fuck is this? Doesn't look like any kind of assembly I've ever seen. What architecture was this for?

A calculator

What's the joke about averaging Int's?

just some nonsense that C hating autists like shitposting about

dividing ints gives you an int. So 4 / 3 = 1. You have to cast them to floats. It's just a common mistake beginners make, and if you don't know about variable types you won't know how to fix it.

Some people think you need to worry about going over the max int size.

NASA

lmao my middle school taught assembly my dude

Yeah? And look where you are now.

>assembly

Try to average 2 "long int" in C.
I'm sure you will make a mistake.

This is something I never knew I wanted, but now know I needed.
