I tried torrent leach but they only give you 1 gig, and there aren't any free leech stuff that I could find. So it's pretty much impossible to get your ratio up enough that you can actually start using it.

They don't, torrentz is prioritized by copyright holders for dmca takedowns, you can usually find more on kat than on torrentz but it's the easiest thing which is why it's first

Site owners have 48 hours to comply afaik, torrentz is very fast so if you're looking for something that just got posted like the newest episode of game of thrones or something torrentz is useless
