Is the Asus vp239 H-p good? Thinking about getting it for gaming and movies 23"
yes
It depends on what are you going to use it for.
Take a look at tftcentral and the logicalincrements monitor guide.
Depends somewhat on what you'll use it for.
Good colour management?
High speed refresh?
Lots of inputs?
HD vs UHD?
Finally price range?
Dell, NEC and Eizo make some decent monitors.
I generally recommend something from the Dell Ultrasharp range.
Decent colors, but not print shop tier
Refresh is secondary
2 inputs are enough
2560x1440 suffices
Price range < 500€
What about the new HP E272q?
I can't find any reviews.
the U2515H is nice and cheap but its 25 inch (1440p) i think they have a larger version at same res but costs like a 100 bucks more (400-450 cant remember). the image quality is really good, response times are not great for competitive games but good enough.

Personally I stay away from HP mostly because I've been jerked around on warranty at both home and work. But that's my personal bias.
Giving the HP E272q a look over, it seems satisfactory.

Check out the U2715H (£397.64), Dell have decent screens.

Good point. Many years ago I had an HP burner with a defective controller, already out of warranty. At the time it was like $300 new. Called HP about a replacement controller.
>lol sure pay $800
Effectively saying "fuck off, buy a new one".
>seeing
>that fucking image

Give me the 1440p gaming monitor to be
If anyone can answer a few questions I would appreciate it.
I'm building a new PC and want a new monitor. Would this monitor run well with a gtx 1080 or would it seriously hurt performance? should I even bother going with 4k? I don't play a ton of competitive games, but if I do how bad will 60hz and 4ms hurt me?
I want something that is going to look nice but not completely run like shit. Open to recommendations

I planned on using the arm I currently have anyways. Look up the specs online to see if it does.

$75.99 if you buy a $1 filler item and use visa checkout.
Forgot to mention mostly for basic computing and movies / anime. I don't really game anymore and I'm tired of using a shitty 720p 19" tv.
>gaming
>ips
disgusting
Shit that Acer and Dell are cheap, I might buy one.
>muh lag
For someone who plays fast racing games, its pretty much a stupid excuse
I'm really tempted by a Dell monitor that has a built in KVM, theres a small premium for it... but it'd be a nice feature to have, since i use my monitor with both a desktop and laptop on occasion without having to swap inputs and usb.
Sure, circa 2011.
It's perfectly fine now.
Samsung makes a great panel as well
bump
Get something made by LG.
Looking Good.
How is this one?
dont post pics of that ignorant fuck wit.
is there any sort of monitor tier chart or something like that?
are dell monitors usually a good choice?
Question, does porn look better at 144Hz?
why would anyone buy this over a p2715q
>Be the first to review this item
neyit
>thinner bezel / aesthetics.
That's the only reason but I wouldn't fall for that meme.
