holy fuck is that cancer.
Why is your Speccy all black and shit?
>tell me the most resource consuming applications you run everyday
Steam and Firefox probably.
Another matter:
I have a Silverstone PSU 500w. Would it work with an rx480. And what custom model would you recommend? I think the Sapphire Nitro one seems pretty good.

Is this the new Windows 10 thread?
bumping up my 5 hour old thread for extra cancer.
its black coz i like contrast
Get the fuck out mouth breathing fucktard. There's one thread already
this thread existed before the other one.
jesus christ your color management is fucked up
i edited the image after taking screenshot. kek
Not OP, but I loved it during beta and still think it's better than DotA 2.
Most intensive application: AutoCAD
>wangblows 10
it works fine on newgen pcs
HoN is great. I still play it a few times a week, and it's Linux native.

are you YIFY?
Small form factor PC?
your gpu has a fucking encoder. why handbrake? what the fuck
so cute
cool price/performance build
just remove windows 10 though
Nice lapfire.
idk user its just what i use
You do professional work on there?
No
professionals NEVER use the latest driver for their GPUs.
In addition to gaming, yes. I have a workstation at work as well.
>gpu encoding
Why not just watch the YIFY encode
>YIFY
>using avisynth
Gaymin, occasional Photoshop/Illustrator/Dreamweaver/Premiere
gpu encoding a shit
sick build man. i like a guy with a dedicated sound card. your ssd is weird though. 111 gb+372gb. like really? alll that money and thats all you can afford?
intel is possibly the only ssd manufacturer that's better than samsung
r8 rig
I got the 7 COA key off a crap laptop that was literally smashed with a fucking hammer. Figured I'd upgrade it to 10. I like it, sorry.
Why are those teeny HDDs in there? Trash them.
Overwatch. Watching a Twitch stream right now and it's warm in the room.
Want to trade processors?
bully
the 1tb drive is for animu, ssd is only for windows + league.
Rest of drives i just keep random shit on.
ayylmao ivybro.
No need to upgrade here, still stronk cpu's.
what kind of programs do you run on it
you have no reason to upgrade
league of legends.
any pc can run league of legends. you wasted your money on a high end pc.
meh, bf1 comes out soon too.
>you have no reason to upgrade
I usually barely get 120fps in Overwatch at 1080p with the lowest settings, so yeah, I kinda do. Would also like a dedicated Plex server and some of the guts from this machine would do well for that.
It's your gpu man
Thanks, hate to admit that is an onboard soundcard though... I built it in Uni, and upgraded a bit after graduation. Had the cheapo SSD, added the NVMe Intel 750. Want to add one of those 512Gb Samsung 950 Pros once the price drops a little bit more. Flash washed out metallic parts, running Dominator DDR4@3200 and a H100i.

Why would you even play that over dota 2?
Got into it way before DOTA 2 came out, and now I like the controls and interface better.
True, but a 25% bump in the CPU along with a new graphics card wouldn't be too bad either.
Micro ATX
minimal input lag, distinct colors and effects so in a teamfight it's not a clusterfuck, it's like chess, you actually are able to react to specific actions. dota2 has issues with nvidia optimus, dota2 has worse smurf protection. it's mostly about fun. it's like choosing nintendo over ps2.
I don't have speccy but I would say mysqld, vmware and Dota 2
Overwatch. I play other games but it's the only one I play almost every day.
ew, amd.
get out poorfag
amd fx at 30 celcius. cool n quiet.
smooth motherfucker
also, get a sound card.

GPU encoding is shit quality, because GPUs use an ASIC, which is a fixed settings encoder, it will be nowhere near as advanced as a software encoder being run on pure CPU power where you can change whatever settings you need/want.
Of course you use a lot more computing power to do this, but if you're going for quality over speed, it's well worth it.
Pic related, my encoding rig. And while yes, it has a GTX 960 which can do hardware HEVC encoding, the quality is lacking so I never use it besides for game streaming (because streaming a game its more important to have higher FPS in game than a good quality encode since you're not making a bluray or some shit)
canadian warming up his home using i5+cpu bottleneck
cracked windows
asics support high profile encoding what are you on about man, it must be your software, just set higher bitrate
>asics support high profile encoding what are you on about man, it must be your software, just set higher bitrate
Are you retarded? Just look up reviews on GTX 960 hardware encoding vs proper handbrake encodes. It is fine if all you want is a passable encode done quickly. But if you have enough CPU power at your disposal, proper handbrake settings, or other software encoders, will allow for MUCH greater quality as well as debanding or other fixes you may wish to implement which you can't when using hardware encoders.
what software are you using for gpu encoding? I'll do some research
>muh bitrate

I used StaxRip for NVENC encoding when I did testing and Handbrake for CPU encoding comparisons.
Shitposting machine. including this post obviously.
Overwatch, I guess? Might also be modded Skyrim
Excellent shitpost box, bro.
