What? Maybe once i've seen any Nakamichi gear mentioned in Sup Forums and quite rarely even in modern hi-fi forums.
I bought the Nakamichi amp (sorry, the amp is not from Dragon series) alongside with Nakamichi Dragon tape deck in the 80's. Granted, it was on sale, but still fairly expensive.

Oh, so you meant the other way around. Well, (the old) Nakamichi still is well respected manufacturer in audio circles, so not that obscure.
There is hardly any market for any obscure stuff in this country (there used to be, but those days are long gone).
