its the best after liquid metal paste
the cheapest I could find
whatever came on my CPU
changing thermal paste is a meme
enjoy 10C more
people like you then go ahead and buy a $100 heatsink with that
$100 heatsink for a power transistor?
I'd like to see that
>this is technology
you will get more replys on v
>liquid metal paste
>liquid paste
A paste is not liquid.
I suggest going straight to mercury.
mayonnaise
fuck off retard
>He doesn't just pump a thick load on to the CPU lid.
I use AS MX2 myself.
I have always used Arctic Silver 5.
I bought a Pentium M from China and it came with a little packet of AS Ceramique, so I just used that
Idles at like 36c :|
I wonder how well Mercury would work as a thermal compound
Maybe gallium would be safer?
Mercury would melt onto your board and make a mess.
Last thermal paste I used was Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound according to my order history. I don't get why people don't just get good thermal paste, it costs like a dollar or two more compared to the alternatives.
It costs like 10-20 times as much without barely any result
>I use cum or mayo as a heat sink compound
A 3~6C difference for like $3 seems fine to me considering the total cost of the system.
AS5 costs like 2€ per gram
this for example costs about 25 cents per gram no need to get out the mayo
>A 3~6C difference
even that little is debatable
I use grizzly kryonaut. The real beat paste after liquid metal.
stock from h100i gt
28C while playing fallout 4 in 6700k
>>A 3~6C difference
>even that little is debatable
see
I use this, served me well.
That's a single test result.
You can find other tests where it does a lot worse
You know what happens when you put gallium on aluminium right?
shhh let him try it
I can find test results to prove almost anything when taken on their own.
AS5 has been a very consistent performer.
>Rosewill thermal compound beaten by cream cheese
Hell, it's beaten by lipstick, toothpaste, spray oil and butter too.
The only thing it really beats is chocolate, and having no compound at all.
