Sup Forums is a full of AMDfags

my 390 plays it in 1440p 50fps just fine
werks on my machine :^)

why didn't you read any benchmarks instead of believing what Sup Forums says?
do you do everything people tell you?

>390
So what are you even replying?
I'm talking about the shitty 480.
Actually tried turning on Hairworks and my fps went to 40
just fucking kill me

>needing more than 30 fps

You learned your lesson, never buy AMD.

even my gtx 760 can do 30fps

shadows - high
foliage draw distance - high

cant even notice the difference but youll get a solid 60fps.

I can already do that with my 960. I was expecting the 480 to be an upgrade.

should have informed yourself before buying.

gtx 960 LOL no you cant dumbass. my r9 290x, which is on par with the 480 will do 60fps only if those two settings are on high.

>I can already do that with my 960

I'm starting to think this is bait

It's a great mid-range card, goofball.

youre resolution is too low to get high fps, lower res == lower fps

retard

Why would you do that? Go on the internet and lie?

Both cards are equal in terms of performance
I guess my extra 200w of power consumption really help out

960 gets you 30fps

All the GPU threads are high quality bait.

My 960 can run Witcher 3 on mostly Ultra with a few settings like shadows and draw distance at around 45-50fps.

How the fuck are you getting 50fps? I get 60fps at 1080p with a fucking 8350. Only thing I turned off was jewworks.

no it can't my 960 barely runs 60fps on high

In your dreams maybe.

>my low-end GPU does this
>my mid-range GPU does that

wew
fucking poor, kill them all

why would anyone want higher detail over having at least 60 fps

nvidia sponsored gameworks title works best on nvidia cards what a surprise

Dunno about you guys but review benchmarks always feel underwhelming to me, probably because they crank every useless detail to the max. Next time stop following hacks and wait few days till somebody releases actual Yt videos with your/similar specs.

Sorry to break it to you like this but

Most people are stupid and dont understand what different levels of aliasing/tessellation other than ruin performance and make bench mark scores look good.

I can buy a 1060 for less money than a 480. Should i pull the trigger?

What's your current GPU

I don't settle for 60 FPS when the game is not a shitty console port.

Once you see 90+ FPS you can't go back.
I'm enjoying high detail AND high FPS

Like I said I was not running with EVERYTHING ON ULTRA, caps so maybe you read it this time fampai. And now I have a brand new card that I can still not run the game on ultra.

I play games on my tv and I honestly can't tell the difference between 60 and 30 fps.

your tv is likely cheap crap then.

Ultra shadows/foliage butcher 10 fps each. Still it's weird i get an average 60 fps on my 970 gtx in 2560x1080 with ultra minus foliage.

>2560x1080
well there you go then, I'm running at 1920x1080

Well I have one of these
amazon.com/dp/B00BC4SKSW/
so no

Ye but 480 should easily perform on 970 level. 60 fps on ultra/1080p/w/o hairworks should be doable

jesus fucking christ
ok let me go step by step this time
I had a 960, I could run the game at mostly ultra with a few things like shadows on high at 45-50fps.
I bought a new card and now I can run the game, with the same crappy settings at 60 but if I actually put everything on ultra I get shitty 50fps.
TL;DR: if I wanted 970 performance I could easily buy a 970 for 80% of what the 480 cost me.

You dont have to lie on the internet

Its ok to be poor and have a cheap tv, just expect your bullshit to get called.

You should actually try playing on a TV that is 6ft away from you sometimes dude.
You'll realize that I'm not lying.

dont have one

>amazon.com/dp/B00BC4SKSW/
>600HZ
>post processing """"""""""""""""""600HZ""""""""""""""""""

How is that even legal to advertise 600HZ when that's not even true?

Also
>1080p
>60 inch
>70 ms response time
>I can't even be arsed to look for gtg times

What a SHIT tv

>he doesn't know about plasma tvs
you're an idiot

Step aside people someone even dumber than the OP is here.

>Like I said I was not running with EVERYTHING ON ULTRA

And like I said, you weren't running at anything close to 60fps on a 960 without most things on medium. Feel free to post a Shadowplay video and BMTFO, cuckboi. ;^)

That is pretty fucking great for a 250$ card. Why buy a mid tier card expecting top tier results?

>>not forming your own opinions and researching for an investment

oh its Sup Forums's fault alright

Must be one of those sony 1080p 32 inch 24 hz tv's.
