No, it's not the best NOW, but it was at the time.

The N5 doesn't really age well - it's battery isn't that great and after a while you'll find that the sides of the chassis will crack around the power button and volume rockers.

But performance isn't that bad, it's reliable and there's a glut of development for it.

Nowadays there's a few better mid-range 5" phones - Xiaomi Mi4c/Mi4S, Mi5, and the ZUK Z2 are a few I can name.

I kind of feel that the ZUK Z2 is the spiritual successor to the N5 desu.
