The reason AIB for 1060 are going down to 480 level is because 480/1060 are too close of a performance segment and therefore creates competition. Also the fact that 480 AIB are going to be released within a week or so
the reason is simple, nvidia is limiting 1070/1080 in europe, so retailers are price gauging, since there is competition. If nvidia tried to limit 1060 in europe we would be seeing 400euro 1060 and everybody would be buying 480
In the uk there are gtx 1070's for 379 quid now. The price has dramatically lowered in the past couple of weeks. There's only about a £100 difference between the two now.

How does that make it an AMD game? I'd call Gameworks titles nVidia games since they're actually made with a nVidia proprietary API. AotS isn't, it just runs better.

These games are very highly marketed so it would be beneficial for benchmarkers to test with these games. Battlefield 4 is still very popular on pc so it's an easy choice of benchmark and project cars is a very well known normie racing sim. It benefits the viewers if they test mainstream games instead of arguably better games but are less well known. Project cars is still way more popular and known than assetto corsa.
