I was drunk and really wanted to install Debian @ 4 am, but the bootable drive for installation wasn't working, so I thought "hey, if I wipe sda1 out, then I get rid of the current OS, and then I can install Debian!"
It obviously didn't work out, and I went to bed quite sad.

Not bricked at all, you just need a boot media with the correct filesystem format. Use a boot media creator program to create a bootable USB stick with different file formats until you get it right.
