Its dual link I was really careful when i bought. cause when i bought this monitor 2 days ago.
It came with a generic single link cable. so yes its dual link.

Even though technically it should only deal with 120hz max, as dvi only goes 60hz, it still supports 144 max.

DVI-D will work but it must be dual link. The proper cable most likely came with your monitor.
