what shitpile CPU are you using?
>only four cores in 2016
Or did you fall for the i3 meme?
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4, the GPU is a Radeon HD7750.
I feel you brother. I upgraded 3 weeks ago from a Q6600 to an i7 6700K. Had her since 2007 OCed to 3GHz. Good CPU.
Are you that fucker with the single slot radeon in the Optiplex?
Hell yeah user, I didn't notice there was a bottleneck until I downclocked the gpu to 300mhz wasn't losing framerate.
Dude, you seriously need a new rig. Even just getting a board that would allow overclocking the the Q6600 would help greatly.
My dual X5650 setup is a bottleneck sometimes. I can't play emulated Wii games without frame drops since my single core performance isn't good enough.
I'm probably gonna ditch the optiplex within the next year and build something ivy bridge or newer when I get a better job, even reusing my same gpu would still see more frames.
Still looks better than PS4
We all make mistakes sometimes.
I only owned the PS3 version, and the pc even on normal settings is worlds better, no textures popping in, framerate is always smooth, even on an old PC.

You'll definitely like the jump. I know I sure as hell did when I went from my Q9400 @ 3.6 to an E5-2690 @ 3.3. GTX 460 liked it pretty well too, at least until I got the 660.
Now its spending its days idling in the Phenom II 940BE Bedside Box as it needed a proper GPU (onboard was horrid shit).
just buy a better card
thank god that's all i need to do
You can possibly overclock the Q6600 to 3GHz even without BIOS support, by putting tape over the identification pins to make it run at 1333MHz FSB instead of 1066. hubpages.com
97% usage... you should download some more ram
His board may not be physically capable of handling it. Keep in mind its an old toaster of an Optiplex and those things are poorly built pieces of shit.
I doubt it would work on my 745, the site says he tried it on a 755 and it worked, but that has 1333fsb support anyway, my optiplex only supports a 1066 bus.
When i went from a q9550 to an i5 4570, reason being i bricked my motherboard flashing a bios to it to allow overclocking, there was such a huge difference. Back then i thought the 750ti was such a huge piece of shit, but it was just severely bottlenecked. Now i have a r9 380 and im pretty comfy.
I couldn't believe my old HD7750 was only getting used 50% under GTA V, the thing still hits 60fps often.
his ram usage is at 65% dumbass
I have an i5 3570k and a GTX 760. Is the 760 holding the i5 back? If so, what should I get? Keep in mind I don't mind waiting. I pretty much only play GTAV, TF2 and Overwatch, but I'd like to get into Dark Souls 3 and Fallout 4.
you would definitely see direct improvement if you upgraded the gpu
>download more ram
>download ram
>you take him seriously
You fucking autist
