On the contrary OP. I think porn websites do a wonderful job of respecting all our privacy. Why? Because, there has not been, as far as I know, no data gathering of what videos you watch associated with your name published anywhere or out there to be sold, no stories of people being blackmailed by porn websites.

At the most, they have your IP address, at the most they log what you watch, when you watch it and make a file on you based on your dynamic IP address. They can trace the IP to a block of IPs to a certain area so now I know you live in Wichita, KS and you watch traps every tuesday.

That is probably as far as it will go, unless you make an account and give them your name and address. On the internet just like in life, they only know what you tell them.
